Re: MATCHWATCH : Wycombe Wanderers (a)

I really have little confidence Hunt will change anything. I expect the same starting team and subs as Tuesday, with the inevitable leaked goal and blunt attack. He didn't change anything after 3 straight losses, so he wont after we grabbed a lucky point. If it were me I'd play 451 and try to grind ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town (h)

This was a bit like Lincoln, we seemed to control the game but were totally incapable of scoring. We've sold all our goals. I knew when Burn missed his sitter header then gave away a cheap corner that we'd concede. The ball dropped right on Whatmough's foot to whack it in. On another day we'd have s...

The Cap Don't forget your blue and white balloons on Saturday lads

I hate balloons.

The sooner they get popped after straying onto the pitch the better.

Are you still using your mod powers to cheat your results?

I stopped after that, it was pretty pointless playing.

Let's see if you can edit this post without showing it's been edited.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Lincoln City (a)

Apart from the game it was a pretty good day out at Lincoln. We got the early train and had time to look around the Cathederal and the castle. Lol at the name of the steep hill up to the Cathederal is called, "Steep Hill", apparently the 4th steepest in Britain. My knees didn't like walkin...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Lincoln City (a)

First timer to Sincil Bank or indeed Lincoln. Either of the above worth visiting? There are few Magna Carta's dotted around the UK, this one is in the castle where you have to pay to see it, you can get replicas in the free to enter gift shop though, and probably replica imps too. I'm not sure but ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Lincoln City (a)

I'm going to this one, but not expecting much with our new team of strangers and no goal threat. If we get away without a total trashing I'll be happy, having booked trains - leaving early in disgust at half time will mean a detour to the pub. I'm not sure if we can be bothered to see the Imp in th...

Re: New Owners - Redwood Watch

That's just the situation we're in, we lost hundreds of millions under Dai, didn't we? We had a few years of massively going over budget in the hopes of getting promoted from the championship and we didn't. I don't think we can really offset that with a few years of reducing budget, because we're p...

https://i.ibb.co/Wpy8QKB4/IMG-1019.jpg Calling bullshit on this one. A lawyer is not stupid enough to fire people without paying them what they're legally entitled to. He'd be at risk of getting sued for much more than he's saving short term. Generally redundancy terms are non contractual. I've bee...

windermereROYAL Anybody know how I can view my latest royalty points?

Login to the ticketing site, click on your profile and the total is the first entry in the My Profile section.

Oddly if you click Royalty points you get a list but no total.

Re: Port Vale Away

What a superb gesture. Port Vale's a bit of an underrated away day. Nice ground and the Bulls Head is a cracking Titanic pub. It was great in there last year. I'm not sure Port Vale have got this right, we contributed to their statue as the match was abandoned and their fans made the expensive trip...

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

Some clubs seem to have a talent for spotting strikers repeatedly over many seasons, I'm thinking of Peterborough and Brentford.

We could do with their scouts.

So I assume a season ticket card still work at the turnstile? Or do those of us who didn't want to download onto apple or Google wallet, so put it on the existing card when buying our season ticket, turn up on the 9th of August and not be able to get in? Not really looking forward to trying to get ...

Re: Josh bowler

After a quick chat with the physio on Sunday I'd pass. He said that a players fitness to play is mostly determined by their previous injuries, ie if you are regularly injured you'll keep being regularly injured, usually with a re-occurrence or worsening of an old injury

Lovely two page spread dedicated to Alf in the NL Paper today. His Reading days feature quite heavily and with Alf only having positive things to say. Should hope so too! Reading was the peak of his career, played more games for Reading than any other club and starred in that PL season (it’s “Le Fo...

I'll echo the other comments, it was a great day out. Well organised and all staff were a credit to the club.

It took me a while to spot Ledge with his greying beard.
