Re: Richardson out

While the style of play can be an infuriating watch at times, one can't really argue with the uptick in results and ultimately, he inherited Hunt's squad and has had a window to try and shift it to a squad of his own making. Would really expect a promotion push next season should he not pull it off...

Re: Play-off/relegation watch.

Looking at our next 5 Wycombe (H) - Last 6 away games read 1-4-1, they love an away draw, could see the same here. Bolton (H) - Last 6 away, 2-2-2, but their points have come against teams in the bottom half, feel we could nick the win Port Vale (A) - Last 6 Home, 1-1-4 but overall, 2-1-3, suggests ...

Re: Club to be sold again ?

I do think they'll look to maximise their investment which to me, means getting promoted to the Championship at a minimum before selling us on.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wigan Athletic (a)

Am i a lone voice in saying Rino will be involved tonight ?? Would be an interesting choice and would surely depend on what the recruitment team saw as his position in the team because he's recently come off the back of being a regular RB in the Championship, surely worth a look in considering the ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wigan Athletic (a)

I feel it will be too short a turnaround for Wigan to suddenly become a better side if the manager was indeed the issue. Just have to hope lessons have been learned from our own limp performance on Saturday.

Is this London curse real? Just goes on and on. Wigan up next who are in atrocious form but might well be sacking their manager after an embarrassing 6-1 defeat.

Re: How best to approach the rest of the season

  Some of the stuff on here   LR has scarcely got his feet under the table here. He's weighed up the contracted pro's he has inherited, signed specific players where he believes is necessary, and some of those those players are still bedding in. Having what is perceived by our L...

Re: How best to approach the rest of the season

We are 8pts off the play-offs with 2 games in hand, that's hardly insurmountable, especially with a favourable run of games coming up Have you watched us play lately? we are average at best. For those of us who remember the pre playoffs days that really was depressing. Out of both cups by December ...

Re: Garcia to be sold

Uke His naive BBC Berks interview a while ago showed that he really wanted to move on and has a massive ego (like Olise)

Hopefully (for him) it'll prove to be the same and not a slow fade into mediocrity

Only reason I want him to succeed is that the club will benefit financially at this point.

Re: Garcia to be sold

Snowflake Royal I'm baffled we haven't used him more and we've let his contract wind down like this to the point we're getting so little. But maybe he's never had any intention of hanging around long, like Olise.

Well, quite, perhaps it was clear he wouldn't sign a new contract and already had interest elsewhere.

Re: Garcia to be sold

Clyde1998 FWIW, @dingarchive on Twitter has stated it's £350,000 with a 20% sell on clause: https://x.com/dingarchive/status/2016574910366191929

20% is solid, based on their recent transfers, if he is developed well, could receive 7 figures based on that.

Re: Play-off/relegation watch.

Next 3 I think are going to be a big indicator of where we are, 3 teams struggling near the bottom, bang out of form, should be getting at least 7pts I would think.
