morganb Playing for the Unders again this evening

So I presume a decision on completing a deal should be expected by close Monday.

Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

Royal Rother Looks like Nuno could be on his way out at Forest.

That could turn rather ugly, rather quickly as Marinakis will not like the reaction he will presumably get from the fans if it does come to pass.

Why? Was a 3-1 win not considered good enough or is it just because it’s Marinakis?

Confirmed then. Good news, I didn't know that!

You know what they say "tomorrow never comes so there is just today".

Presume this done deal is now a dead deal.

Re: Speculationish Tyler Robert’s and Jack Marriott

The key to building a squad is not signing just players who are young and may attract a decent sell on value - you need to add to that with the odd player who will do a job now and will have little to no sell on value - I'm not saying Marriott is the right signing (if it happens) but spending money...

Farnborough FC are delighted to confirm the signing of midfielder Aaron Kuhl on an 18-month contract, following his release from Dorking Wanderers this week That injury seems to have really wrecked his career Looks like he's had another major injury too and Farnborough have set up a Gofundme for hi...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bolton Wanderers (a)

Who was the academy lad that came on away to Birmingham and bagged 2 goals to win us the game his name has gone out me head ! Really thought he was gonna break through and be successful for us but I think he got an injury then just disappeared about the time Kelvin came through Jahmari Clarke. Now ...

Re: Stadium Matchday Upgrade

rabidbee Couhig said in an interview early he loved fireworks, and he does it to attract kids to the matches. Mate, if they can see the fireworks they’re already at the game, ffs.

Shouldn’t fireworks be reserved for night games?

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bolton Wanderers (a)

Who was the last decent striker the Academy produced? Loader. Although Ehibhatiomhan is also a forward, he was arguably moved out of position to LW when he broke through. People love to ignore facts when they're complaining though. 'We have no strikers', 'we signed no strikers' Er... MOM and Ehibha...

Re: Stadium Matchday Upgrade

Got told today the pyros have cost the club 40k 4k a games. We have them for the next 9 games. :| What a waste of money Sadly it’s an American thing. That sort of ephemera and glitz works stateside whereas over here, where things are more cynical, you don’t need flashy “branding” to get what you’re...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bolton Wanderers (a)

Who was the last decent striker the Academy produced? Wareham. No. It was Sam Smith. Reading had a spell of top class striker youngsters coming through 20 or so years ago (Tyson, Henderson, Cox plus Austin on the Academy books too) but there’s been no real quality produced since the late 00s. Perha...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bolton Wanderers (a)

Hmm. Not sure what to make of it all really. Still feel that Hunt is within a grace window what with having to start essentially from scratch this season with a new roster of players, and want to afford the same grace to those players too - it’s rare to hit the ground running, and they will of cour...

Re: Hunt out.

Think it would still be knee jerk. We have 2 winnable home games in Vale and Northampton; after then if we're still poor, he'll be under pressure then. Given Wycombe's start, it's quite possible that in 3 games time our start looks very different. I think Northampton could be moved due to internati...

Re: Hunt out.

This speculation over Hunty is getting ridiculous. For the last 2 seasons we lost 5-2 at Bolton and so last night was a big improvement. We were on the back foot throughout but we defended resolutely. If we win against Wycombe (who have started the season as badly as us) and Port Vale, the start fo...

How much will Reading get from the deal?

Why would Reading get anything? He went to Millwall, qpr, then to palace. Don’t think we get anything do we?

He spent some time in the Reading Academy between the ages 13 and 16 before joining Millwall.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bolton Wanderers (a)

MOM is looking poor because he’s getting sod all help. He is NOT a Forster type who can lead the line and create chances on his own, he looks like someone who needs someone to play off. I don't think it's just that. He looks utterly lost. He clearly doesn't know what he's supposed to be doing. He d...

Double C
Sanguine I thought it was Newcastle getting their pants pulled down in this transfer window - but Arsenal swooping in to sign Eberechi Eze from under Spurs' nose is nothing short of hilarious.

Very Spursy!
