Re: Injury watch 2025/26

With Wigan being off; should everyone except Fraser be back for our next game? Obvs don’t know what the story is with Burns or Jacob but the u21 looks full strength now as well.

Be an interesting selection for that game

Re: Rival Watch

It’s certainly a very even league this year. No one outstanding at all - but also the teams at the bottom are relatively strong as well

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stevenage (h)

The last few teams he's played against must have had really slow defenders then, as he was regularly beating them for pace. I'm pretty sure I've seen comments from opposition fans regarding his pace too. Would be great to see sprint speeds of our various players as they would bring some objectivity...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stevenage (h)

Actually scanning through a few more games, and not really thought of this, but Savage and Wing are all over the shop. I reckon LR has made it absolutely clear to stay on their side. Also suggests why are midfield was such a mess under Hunt. Noted there was a comment from LR on the goal ‘Savage was ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stevenage (h)

We’ll see more on upcoming games. Tbf Stevenage looked a bit shit but they would have been top with a game in hand had they won. I’m looking forward to see what we do when we play weaker sides. I suspect we’ll see more changes become obvious then We had a lot less touches and passes than under Noel ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stevenage (h)

Wing is 100% playing a different role. Check out heat maps for last night compared to say Mansfield. He is very much playing a RCM, Savage a LCM and no longer playing between the CBs Right, I’ve looked at the heat maps for Wing for every game going back to Mansfield and I honestly think you are loo...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stevenage (h)

Where can I find the heat maps? Because all I saw was Wing stuck in the trenches yet again with midfield just a big pinball machine pinging the ball out in random directions. What tactical changes did you see? I really couldn’t see any. Than an ones I’d say are Wing not coming back to quarterback (...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stevenage (h)

A rare live game for me. Great result, but the quality of football from both sides was dire. Wasn’t exactly overwhelmed by the differences between Noel’s Reading and Leam’s Reading; looked to me like Leam just picked up where Noel left off. Feels a bit unfair to reel off a bunch of criticisms after...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stevenage (h)

I think our record when D Williams starts is 4 wins, 3 draws, 1 defeat (Cardiff). Paudie would be second in the whoscored ratings if he’d played enough games to qualify Along with JP there’s no doubt who are our most impt players. If those 3 can play the vast majority of games til end of season, pl...

Re: Players on international duty

MoM has looked quite handy last few games. We can afford to be without Tuma and Garcia, I think no MoM would be a problem. I’m not sure we’ll be seeing Camara again.

DK suspended for next game as well

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stevenage (h)

One thing that DK has impressed with is his fitness - with so many others dropping out he’s been available all season and works hard It seems to have take LR all of one game to find him a role which he can perform in. He just can’t/doesn’t cross so that more central role in attack could just be the ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stevenage (h)

Well that’s a huge win isn’t it?

Looked solid, dangerous in the first half and some nice patterns appearing

We did tire though. Need to get fitter

Abrefa was excellent bar that back pass. Front 4 massively better. JP excellent, Dorsett, Paudie and Williams a great job

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stevenage (h)

Decent half though. CBs look solid. Abrefa having a good game. Definitely some quite distinct tactual changes - Abrefa very high, DK coming into very central areas from LW. Wing not dropping back at all. lane ending up CAM rather than on the wing

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stevenage (h)

Clyde1998 If it was Kyerewaa who fouled him, fair play to the officials for changing who got the yellow - many would’ve just stuck with the original decision.

Brogue Well that looked like dorsett to me. Got away with that one.

Don’t think so - it was DK crashing into the back of him that knocked him over
