Re: Injury watch 2025/26

No wonder we're struggling so much if our key players are spending all their time on the grass.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Leyton Orient (h)

Really hoping we can put together a win and performance that gets a bit of belief going. I don't think we're far too.

And it they want to man mark Wing we have quality elsewhere in the team capable of hurting them.

Re: Rumour - Gareth Ainsworth

Lots of fans suggesting Carrick which shows what planet they're on. We're in our third season as a L1 club. Not newly relegated and favourites for promotion. We're firmly L1.

And we're meant to go and get a manager with 3 top 10 Championship finishes. Get real dickheads.

Re: Hunt out.

Maybe one for ex-players thread, but it looks like Parkinson could leave Wrexham without quick improvements. If Hunt did get sacked, there is a Reading legend who you would back to bring immediate improvements to the team. However, football would be "pragmatic" and if he did get us promote...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (a)

Last word on the fans at the game. I don't get to many games, but today suggests the toxicity you see on Twitter is also on the terraces; a sizeable minority are dickheads. The team did not deserve to be booed today, and if you can't handle losing maybe think of a better use of your Saturday than t...

Re: Hunt out.

The squad is not weaker than last year. The starting XI is, but we have depth and alternative options Selles could only have dreamed of.

Re: Hunt in

Anyone who wants him out now should be the ones going. Not the sort of fans who should be here. Just impatient, angry kneejerkers. The opening games have been tough, we've lost a lot of our best players from last season and are bedding in new owners and a mostly new squad with an inexperienced mana...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (a)

Is Paudie O'Connor one of those players who the longer they are out the more incredible they become which tends to happen from time to time? Vaguely remember that in the couple of pre-season games he played he wasn't amazing as apparently we play the wrong system and he needs pace alongside him The...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (a)

At least we have begun to create more chances than a couple of weeks ago and in Marriott have someone who knows where the net is. I think there are clear signs things are turning round and whilst I don't see us being a play off team, I really think we have it within us to be a top half team. That h...

Re: Hunt out.

2) we seemed to have regressed on the injury front - back to the pre Selles days. Why is that ? Bad luck or wrong training, prep whatever. Needs to be fixed This is a concern for me. O'Connor barely misses a game for Lincoln and Bradford for about 4 years apart from suspension, but has missed the f...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (a)

Even last season, we weren't actually great. We kept things tight, stayed in the game and relied on the moments the likes of Wing and Knibbs could provide. We had some genuinely good performances like when we beat Wrexham, but not many. I often think Real Madrid are not a particularly good team and...

Re: Hunt in

A lot of our problems seems to be mental and morale related. We've played well in spells this season. Last 20 minutes at Bolton, most of Wycombe, spells today. But we also look poor in spells. First 30 today could have cost us the game; instead 10 minutes in the second half did. We haven't yet put ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (a)

It’s stronger than 5 points from 21, 1 win in 7 and 21st in the league. I don’t give a shit about the playoffs. I never thought we’d be close to em. But we are genuinely in a relegation battle with a top half team. That’s on the manager. It also doesn’t help that we’ve been dog shit in every game w...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (a)

What I will say is, without results improving in the next 3 games, surely Couhig and JJ will need to front up and talk about the bad start. If we're on 7 or 8 points from 10, there's no dressing that up or spinning it. Even if they have faith in Hunt, they would need to address the topic otherwise t...

Re: Hunt out.

Can we acknowledge our opening fixtures have been tough? We've already played Lincoln, Bolton and Barnsley away and Huddersfield at home in our first 7. What's a good haul from those 4 games? 4? 6? The game against Wimbledon and the last minute goal at Wycombe are the two things that grate, and Wim...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (a)

Getting really fed up with the bedwetting whiners on here. As Mick and Tim said in BBCRB before the match we lost most of our best players in January and June and the replacements are not as good. We have played a likely top 6 side away today and run them close. Give Hunt a chance to build a team. ...
