Elm Park Old Boy Not seeing this. He’s been fine.

He has been, done nothing all wrong.

He nearly did just then with a stupid back header.

That wasn’t great, admittedly :D

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wrexham (a)

Changes needed.

Is Elliot one of those players who gets better when he’s not playing? (I speak as an Elliot fan - just disappointing recently.)

Re: BTFG - Bristol Rovers

I’ve not posted for ages on HNA (lethargy, forgot password, etc.). But the spirit being shown by the current team has re-energised me. Just popped on to say, thanks Mr A for attempting BFTG thread. I’ve missed them.

Re: CONFIMRED - Mark Bowen

Snowflake Royal Given we never won 10 games straight under Brian, no. Not even close. Only Coppell managed 10 (in recent years, obvs someone before my time got 13)

I'd have said 8 wins in a row in 2011-12 (as part of a run of 15 in 17) counts as pretty close.

Re: Back from the shambles - Brum

What worried me most was the way we seem to have lost all shape and purpose. Last season, the football was dull a lot of the time, but it had a novelty value and it got some good results. Even when it didn't work (the 7-1 at Norwich, and other away beatings), you could see what the team were trying ...

What a pass from VDB. That's what makes him frustrating - capable of silly mistakes, but he can then do that.

Re: BFTG - Wembley

Disappointing, not because we lost but because after all that has been achieved this season there was a palpable sense of not really going for it. Both teams set up very cautiously, and I think with hindsight ours will wish they had thrown a bit more at the second half and ET. Yes, Huddersfield kept...

Re: Best wishes Bobby Convey

For some reason my most vivid memory of Bobby is this beautiful pass to play in Harper for the 3rd goal against Liverpool (at 6.33) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HGBCq2Ps51Q. The most delicate of touches opened up the whole Liverpool half for Harps to run into. Just a pity we didn't get to see mor...

Re: BFTG - Fulham

Was I the only one who found it embarrassing how much of a hero's send-off our fans gave Danny Williams? He had just got himself sent off, letting down the team. They had a pretty tough, unlikely, but not impossible task trying to come back from 2 down. He went and we completely subsided.

Re: Season Ticket Prices for 2016/2017

Got a nice, and very apologetic call from the Customer Service and HR manager at RFC today who explained they'd not logged my complaint correctly and had no excuses for the delay in responding - fair enough. She appreciated my position and sentiment and said I'd made my position well with a well wr...

I'm surprised no one has yet remarked on the most obvious benefit of the scheme - our 106-point record would become virtually unbeatable forever. Yay!

Our team since January was still the most talented team in the championship.

Are you serious? Even if we hadn't sold our two top goalscorers in January, I think that assertion would be a long way from being true.

I thought it was Cox. But fair play to Piazon - great tracking run and super tackle.
