Re: World Cup 2026

PieEater All 3 Scottish goals were good.

:?

Lowlight for me was the Sky commentator saying, on at least six occasions, «  Scotland taking the High Road » when it was pumped forward.

Once was annoying.

I was at that 3-0 home defeat in 1977. It relegated us back to Division 4 after one season away. Happy days.

Sanguine It annoys me that Liam Scales isn't related to John. Football is the only place I've come across this surname.

Yep, Prunella played for Torquay..

Re: Injury watch 2025/26

Yes but we still need a goalscorer. How many have we scored since Marriot started his run of goals? How many of those were not his?

Re: Reading vs Non-League

I was at Wealdstone away in the mid to late 70’s. Lost 2-1 to two goals scored by George Duck. Fun on the terraces with rogue Aldershot fans. Plus we got chased back to the coaches. Or was the “they’re coming” a hoax? Anyway, we all ran. I also went to Hereford away, who were then second tier ( so s...

Re: Hunts gone

Sad for Hunt, like him a lot.

I don’t think he had much to work with tbh, not sure anybody else will do better without a striker and other key reinforcements.

Hope I’m wrong.

16th 8) To all those who didn't take any notice of us who said "let's see where we are after we played our game in hand" and carried on moaning about being in the bottom four. We told you so . Where does all this “game in hand” nonsense come from? After playing that match last night...

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

Pleased for Amorim/ Brobot. Srsly. Although I do not want Arsenal/ Man City filling the gap. Spurs would be refreshing, but, well, they’ve fcked up again today.

By my calculations Liverpool have conceded two goals in 7/12 matches this season. And their much vaunted new attack has disappointed.

Re: Injury watch 2025/26

morganb injury update via Noel Hunt:

• Derrick Williams back in contact training, not ready for this weekend.

• Andre Garcia will be a few weeks still.

• Liam Fraser out for 6-8 weeks.

• Mamadi Camara back on the grass, non contact.

Hang on, so Pereira is ok?
