I've been in left side of the South Stand / Club 1871 from the start and enjoyed it from the begining although getting beat by Ipswich with about 50 people was a bit embarassing. The club support the South Stand efforts and they organised the Heineken event to boost numbers. Nigel Howe thinks a positive atmosphere on game day is a good thing and as such is behind the Club1871 initiative.

You are talking rubbish. Everything goes to the deadline day as all the teams selling have to buy replacements etc. etc. you also have the loan market. You can't pin Sky's transfer deadline day extravaganza on Reading however bad we're playing.

IMHO, we are great against open attacking teams - I have seen the best football under Stam as well as the worst. If a team lines up with 5 at the back and plays defensively we have been poor.
