I doubt he could even hear from where he was stood and the only reason this is getting any reaction is because the higher than thou attitude of most our fan base.

Then you have a really strange way of saying that.

Stranded And it wasn't in this case?

21 different charges and he is completely innocent? To be charged there has to be evidence.

There was testimony, but it turned out to have been completely fabricated, so yes, 21 charges and he is completely innocent.

lowerwestjnr At no point can anyone say you can't sing this you can't sing that.

Seems to have worked with the prohibition of racist chanting

The case collapsed because the whole thing was fabricated. The "evidence" would have been the witness statements from those that Jones allegedly abused. Their accounts were according to the Courts entirely unreliable/made up.

I could sing about how your mum murders babies by rectal penetration with a 12 inch strap on and uses razorblades the slice open the eye lids of kittens, before filling the wounds with red ant eggs.

Doesn't mean I should or people shouldn't treat me with contempt and tell me to stop.

I don't really do tune.

Mind you, nor does Agadoo, so I guess so.

Glad I didn't.

And you would of stopped it...What's the difference? It got sang by quite a few people..

I'm not saying I would have done anything (not would of, by the way, which makes no grammatical sense at all).

I just said I'm glad I didn't notice it. Glad my son didn't either.

As for the difference, not hearing mindless and vile chanting will always improve the match day experience for me. Just a personal preference. Sorry if it bothers you.

It was audible in the UW, what an embarrassment. Did not go on for long though.

The one big risk for this week? Mills - liability. His yellow card was as obvious as they come.

Cardiff got what they came for and credit to them for that. They wound us up and we bit hook, line and sinker. McNoughton was epic in this diving, niggling skillz.

As for us, pretty average but solid. Zurab's attempt at playing a sweeper Dariusz pass got a big LOL from me. Karacan ran himself into the ground and probably earned MOTM for us. We got in some pretty decent positions but our crossing was dire.

Other than that, is was all a bit :|

Stopped a quick break occurring when him and Khiz were both up the pitch following a corner. Some would say he took his booking for the team......

Manset didn't have a great game, but one of the biggest problems wasn't of his making.

He indirectly caused it just be being sent on - because we have the perennial problem that as soon as we have a bigun up front all we can do is hoof the ball up to him - it's the path of least resistance for those at the back. No need to be inventive or creative - just hoof it and it's someone else's problem.

We're a much better much more creative team when we're passing it around and playing it via the wings - but as soon as there's someone big to aim at we don't bother with that.

So Manset had a lot more of the ball - and a lot more responsibility with it - than he should have done. He'd gone from supporting Long to being the focus of all our play.

Agree with that. Quite why teams do it I dont know but we're not alone in hoofing to a big man. However, I think we were superior in the first half with Robson-Kanu all over them. The hoofing partly came from having only one, heavily marked outlet, in McAnuff in the 2nd half. FAir play to Noel he put a shift in but we did play long ball in the last 30 mins. With Kebe or HRK we might not be so guilty of this.

That said when Manset comes on he is pretty good at getting the ball and laying it off. I think its esier as the defence aren't used to it. From the start they dont let him get going.

That said our defence looked like it could handle Chropra and Bothroyd all day long. But not Bellamy :-s

A tense, turgid affair with some players not producing what they are capable of in the most important game of the season so far.
Glad to see the back of Bellamy as he looked up for it.
No individual marks but a few points (some of which probably already mentioned)

If Mills was as good at playing the ball out of defence as he is winning the ball in the first place he'd be a top CB.
With Kish proving that right alongside I'm surprised he still insists on lumping up field. To no one in particular. Shame.

McAnuff showed glimpses. I think his downside is not keeping the ball under close enough control.
Jem - V.good
L'wood - quality
Griffin/Harte - played well

The rest were just very mediocre at best.
With the room that is left for improvement this will be a tight one on Tuesday as I think Cardiff have more in them too.
Praying Kebe is fit.

Thank God for this as I didn't want to grace the "3 words" thread with a reply

I thought it was a very cagey game which we edged - to be expected as the home team. Didn't see much from Cardiff to worry about, even with Bellamy on the pitch.

We didn't really turn to the hoof until HRK went off and with Hunt on the wing we didn't have an outlet there and this only got worse when Howard came on - he's not a winger and certainly not a right winger but at least he tries to play it on the floor.

With HRK on the pitch I thought it was just a matter of time until we scored.

I was concerned with how many headers Jay (dive dive dive) Bothroyd won in and around our area but fair play to the team that there was always someone on hand to mop it up.

I can't understand Halsey's logic on who did and didn't get booked - Jobi's looked pretty inocuous at the time and even more so on TV. Couldn't really argue with Mills' other than that a minute earlier Chopra got off scot free when arriving late on Karacan and I thought that impeding a keeper in the act of a drop kick resulted in a yellow card. In the end I assumed that he'd worked out it wasn't worthwhile booking any of the Cardiff players as the FAW would overturn it regardless.

MOM is difficult but I'd give it to Karacan as he was everywhere, Long worked hard and showed good technique and typical strength with his back to goal and when running at defenders (BTW Mr Halsey it's called a shoulder barge), both wingers gave the full backs problems but couldn't pick the final pass and Leigertwood played well but it wasn't his best game
