I counted 28 at Darlo in about 1991 ish. Tuesday night. Snowing. Maskell hatrick. The other goal in our 2-4 win was a 50 yard O.G. Happy days.

LUX Great memories on here, brings a tear to my eye, seriously.

Ok, how many of us were at Oxford on 29/12/77 (?) when we lost 1 0 very late on in the snow?

We had a few coaches, but there was not one chant all game. I got my silk scarf nicked.

Also, how many at the Watford league cup replay defeat, 0-5 iirc in about 1978? Those were very low turnouts for local games.

Yes! Robin Friday's last game for Reading. Went with my uncle in his Austin Maxi and the heating packed up. The only reason we went at all was because it was Robin's last game.

Was that the one where it was so foggy that you could only see half the pitch & only knew they had scored by the crowd noise? If so I was there.

Newport County away midweek, early 80's. Must have been third of a coachload.(Smith's) The drivers windscreen was smashed in and it rained on the way back. Some chap protected the driver from the rain with an overcoat. Then we finally broke down just passed Newbury. Waited for over an hour for replacement coach to arrive! Good Old Days.
