windermere_royal It will be far from easy. Wigan had 13 shots with 10 on target against Chelsea today, also edged the possession 53% 47%

Cripple Creek BBC report says the scoreline today in the Wigan match really flattered Chelsea and that Wigan actually played rather well. It will be such a tough game against the Latics and, frankly, I'd be happy (well, not happy but I could live with it) a draw. We are still, as the Stoke game showed, a poor Premiership team - not a criticism of Brian or the players who are really battling, and I'm delighted with some of our recent from - and are still very much relegation candidates.

It's a must win, no matter how many games are left, it's a massive opportunity for us to open a gap and take some pressure off ourselves. We too have some shockers of games coming up (United away, City home, Liverpool home to name but three). Wigan is massive!

Royal91 Its sounds cliché but the Wigan match is season defining. Lose it and we will completely collapse!

Royals-lad14 believe saints are out of it now and feel QPR are pretty much gone, if we beat wigan and go 5 clear of the drop and then rather optimistically beat villa 2 weeks later I think we may just be safe, BUT its never over til its over
