It doesn't matter how we lost, the fact is its another loss and another blow to confidence. All else is irrelevant.

There are positives to take from the game, but a oxf*rd tonne of negatives too.

Pandoras Box Every time we put a team out, half the fvckers get injured, including the usual sick notes. If not during the match they get fvcked over in training.. Are we the weakest, wet bunch of pcunts in this division? Any stats on if we have had the most injuries this year and last year? It's becoming farcical.

Did Clarke bring in his own fitness team?

I believe I recall that he did.

Bristol Paul Vydra, why bother, never, ever, looks like scoring and his stupid little flicks continually give the ball away

Harsh to criticise him for not scoring when noone ever fcuking passes to him

McCleary was gash and has been for ages. Seems slow, lumbered, can't pass for shit and rarely beats his man. Woeful.

Bad luck with the injuries, but we did rather set ourselves up to be victims in the second half. Lack of confidence, I guess.

Having a proper unit in defensive midfield did help though - I hope that wasn't a one-game experiment.

Really poor substitution to bring Fernandes on instead of Keown.

We need a permanent manager in before Sunday really.

Ian Royal
John Madejski's Wallet
Ian Royal Same story as it's been for three years. We sit and defend against a team offering nothing going forward, gifting them possession back endlessly, offering no threat against their defence and just inviting them to keep plugging away unopposed until they get a reward. Funnily enough their confidence soars and one of their chances go in. Our heads drop, we've dug ourself in a hole we can't get out of and they hit us again.

This.

For 3 straight years

The only three years I've had a oxf*rd season ticket too. STOP BEING SHIT.

So YOU'RE to blame!!

Gutted.

Great 1st half -shambolic 2nd half -too many players just not up for a physical challenge. We completely folded 2nd half.

Bond 7: Our best player-lots of good saves-but stupid yellow & his distribution was poor.
Gunter 6: One of his better games-could he really not come back on-medical staff need to be game aware(Oh that's Mourinios take)
Taylor 5: Limited as usual.
Mc Shane 5: He's better than this.
Anton 3 : The 2nd goal was his fault-should have cleared it into row Z rather than fanny around.
Hector 7: Pretty good for a change-very assured.
Norwood 5: descending into last seasons poor 2nd half form.
Williams 2: Awful-a pub player. No vision & terrible 1st touch. But spirited.
Macca 3: Right off his game.
Vydra 3 : Summed up our overall game-very intelligent 1st half ,then way too soft and ineffectual in the 2nd.
Blackman 7 : Great goal & always a threat.

Kanu 2: Waste of space
Cooper 2: Oh dear-I thought he was better than this-looked way out of his depth tonight.
Alex 2: He must be better than this.

Kuhl: After Taylor went off -should have put Macca at right back & kept Hector in the middle.

Ref: Very poor-ran the game to Hull's greater physicality -does he not know that a tackle from behind is a foul.

I am so hacked off. How are we going to turn this round-Did you notice Ian Holloway call it right at half time-is he the man to stir the team up ?

I think you are right about the physical aspect, we just aren't a strong enough team and get steam rollered too easily

Bond easily our MOTM. Made a string of solid saves to keep us in it and very unlucky to concede the goals he did.

With Taylor and Ferdinand still on the pitch we could have claimed at least a point.

Really good goal for us and breaks Blackmans drought which is a positive.

Some positives but unfortunately no points again. We are not far from a really good side, we showed glimpes of our earlier form tonight.

Watching a game on to made me realise just how poo Williams touch and vision are. He just cannot take one touch and move the ball quickly. That was the thing that most impressed me about Tish earlier in the season. I'd drop Williams as soon as Quinn is fully fit.

Too many drama queens wearing their cùnt-tinted specs tonight.

We have been poor recently, but this was no such occasion. Played decent football, tactics were correct, unlucky with injuries & goalmouth scrambles when down to 10 men. Subs could have been better but we have a guy doing his best after being thrust into the hot-seat clearly against his will.

Hull are a quality side rightly near the top of the table. We made them look ordinary for long spells.

Considering where we have been recently, this performance gives me hope we can finish top half & consolidate for next year.

The moaners predicting relegation should throw their over-hysterical arses under a train, or else fùck off and support Chelsea if you crave success......... Oh

Thought we played a bit better than we have been doing of late, particularly in the first half. Playing Hector in front of the back four made a big difference and would be tempted to try that again.

However, when Ferdinand went down like a dying swan for what will inevitably be a lengthy lay off again, that is unlikely as Hector will now presumably go back to centre half unless they give Cooper a run next to McShane.

Somebody said they thought MacLeary played well, really? Thought he had a shocker, kept giving the ball away. He's better than that and his lack of form is mystifying. Would agree that the substitutions weren't that clever but there was little option in truth. Fernandes got the wrong side twice in the lead up to the goal.

Lastly, Vydra is a clever player but really needs some help. Imagine what he would be like playing just behind a more physical but mobile striker, someone like Ulloa from Leicester, for instance. There seems little point keep playing him without that assistance.

Loving Ian Royal's hissy fit.

My thoughts from afar:

Hector looked good in Midfield.
Ferdinand looked immense until injured.
What was he doing for the first goal? I think he thought that the ball was going out of play or he'd been fouled.
Bond's kicking leaves a lot to be desired (mind you it's something that was levelled at Feds).
He made some good saves but still has a couple of mistakes in him every game.
We need to speed up the attack. If we're a counter attacking team we need to up the pace. I'm putting this down to lack of confidence at the moment.
I thought the winner could have been chalked off as there was an attacker between the scorer and Bond. He definitely didn't have a clear site of goal. I didn't see anyone playing him on side but I could be wrong.
Norwood looked good for most of the game.
Danny Williams is reminding me more of James Harper's sideways passing period. He's clearly got talent and can run with the ball but that was only in evidence in all too brief moments this evening.

I thought we did OK tonight and were a bit unlucky to lose.

Did you not notice Ferdinand injured himself while intercepting the ball? - going to be a massive miss. Only thing I think you got right on those scores was Williams usual inept performance. All he has is his running ability, just wish sometimes he'd take the ball at the same time. Oh and Hector found his right position tonight.

Vydra must be getting frustrated. There were a few times tonight where Williams and McCleary were pressing forward and he made decent runs off the ball and they didn't have the vision to even try the pass.
