Sounds like Orient comfortably the better team before the goal, but games ebb and flow. Need to build upon this now and put in a strong performance. Maybe with a win and confidence, we won't start every game like rabbits in headlights and need Pereira's fake injury timeout.

Again, I certainly wouldn't say comfortably the better team.

Marriot was the first player since George Puscas in 2019 to score in his first two games. That’s now 3 in 3. Who was the last player to score in their first three games for the club?

Jesus, that should be 2-0 either before or after the corner.

Subjective. I'm not watching, but other fans saying Orient were looking better, and Sky Sports reporting said Orient had looked excellent before the goal.

They had more of the ball and were passing it well, but we were defending well, and looked dangerous on the break.

Bit rough for Wellens to get a yellow and Ahmed not. Not arguing, but I’d not be happy if I were an O’s fan.

On balance we’re more than good for it, they can have no arguments.

Good half, 1-0 flatters them a bit I think. Yeah they've been tidy and had plenty of possession, but we've had the bulk of the better chances imo. Should be 2-0 up at least. Hopefully we don't get punished for not putting any of the chances away, because you always worry we're going to concede at least one and Pereira's already made a couple of saves.

Sounds like they have put a new sound system inp.... Bit more thumpy bass.
Bout time.... Just need to start showing replays now..... Marriots goal looked a bit of a miskick and the keeper looked bloody slow getting down.. They all count though... We've played well... They still look dangerous though.

Just about shaded it IMHO.
We made the better chances and their good approach play faltered on the edge of our box.
I was just thinking how little Lane had done, easily losing possession and weak in the tackle and he then does a couple of good things towards the end of the half prompting the commentator to say what a good half he had.

Very important for us to see this game out.

Well there's the inevitable goal from being a bit sloppy and open.

Where is Abrefa? Ahmed looked bright for a few games but clearly needs some time out of the team now.

We're really struggling keeping the ball, and they're picking up the loose balls further forward, meaning we don't have the four man press on their defence, and our second line is very sparse and less organised.

Could Doyle and Ritchie have an impact?

Really don’t think much of Noel’s half time chat. Shouldn’t the team come out firing on all cylinders?
