Matchday Hospitality

by Dave the rave » 30 Sep 2025 15:39

Not sure if this falls under Team or Club policies.......but.....

Anyone done Club 106 on match days?

Mine and my eldest's birthday coming up and was thinking of a nice treat for him (and me) but is it worth it?
Is the food ok? Are there any player appearances that sort of thing?
At £99 and £70 respectively, once you've factored in the cost of a normal ticket will I see £79 and £66 worth of value?

I've been in that room before on an uncle's birthday so I know the layout out and the view is nice.

Thoughts?

Went in Club 106 a few years ago, but felt like it was worth it for a treat. Was Mothers Day weekend, so they had a carvery on which was decent, Yorkshire Puds were top notch. Don't think there was a player appearance before the game, but MotM came in after - Matt Miazga for the time I was in there.

Can't help but wonder if it might have improved since then. That was firmly during the bad days of the Dai era right?

I invited a well known you tube farmer in there for the Good Friday game against Lincoln City( Wardy’s Waffle). It was busy in there and the service might not have been as good as normal. Food offering is varied and is small plates for main and desert. Several choices and dishes keep on being served. As a season ticket holder i got a reduction off the price and for a special occasion worth it.

I was in Club106 for the Orient game.

A good experience but it was very, very, quiet - only abut 20 people in there in total, so not a wonderful atmosphere.

Food is good, with mini-portions being brought out as much as you like, and no player appearances. maybe they do that when there's a greater demand.

Enjoyed it, but not sure I'd have felt it was worth the full £99 if I'd had to pay that.

I've seen a few reviews online and they are generally pretty favourable.

Was going to say, I'm sure I said something similar not that long ago.

One Beer is never enough. Think this is the right place for this..

Looking at doing a hospitality package for a friends birthday, on the link is what the club offers - has anyone had any experience of the packages (tbh finances will probably dictate Club 106 or Trophy Room) - what food is on offer etc. Any feedback greatly appreciate.

106 was pretty decent when I did it. Was a few years ago now, so can't remember exactly how it all was. I think it was around mothers day or Easter and as such the food on offer was a roast, was very good. Service was excellent.

Couple of years ago, my uncle was gifted some tickets for Royals Exclusive, this was pretty bloody good, tbf. Food was excellent, main thing I remember was having a toad in the hole starter with chorizo sausage, delicious. You get all the stuff in that one as well, like meeting the ex-pro at HT and MOTM after the game.

All depends on your budget, but you can't really go wrong with any of the packages - they're all pretty decent.

Thanks, RG30. Thought I'd seen something before so appreciate you digging it up.
Turns out the wife has had a whip round for mine and the boy's bday and this is on the cards so will report back. Maybe the Donny Rovers game if I'm back fighting fit by then.
