Pinned threads

Just thinking about this, would it be possible to get a few threads pinned as they're always going to be in regular use?

3. Injuries - viewtopic.php?f=1&t=192254
4. Internationals - viewtopic.php?f=1&t=191386
5. Rival watch - viewtopic.php?f=1&t=135488
6. Owners - viewtopic.php?f=1&t=192162
7. Squad - viewtopic.php?f=1&t=192100
8. Women - viewtopic.php?f=1&t=139161

Any I'm missing?

Trouble with pinning them is they sit at the top of the page and too many and the new threads sit halfway down the first page.

Yup, anyone with any interest in the proposed pinned threads will know where to find them anyway.

We are all capable of resurrecting those mainstay threads when we need to.

A compromise might be pinning (and then locking?) a post with just the links to the key threads?

It's survival of the fittest - any mega thread that people use all the time will automatically stay at the top without any extra help from being pinned.

But if people aren't bothered about these threads then allow them to sink down and die, to be replaced by whatever gets attention instead.
