Hound On the Grass really has just become a completely meaningless phrase now hasn’t it? Be nice if journos didn’t just accept that as an answer

Contact makes a bit more sense - guessing it’s still a couple of weeks min for Paudie

I assume 'on the grass' means out of the gym and actually kicking a ball around, but not yet getting involved in anything too physical.

Or it could just mean that he is running on grass to start to build up fitness. That's why Hound is spot on. A simple question: 'What does being on grass involve in terms of fitness and training regime?' or something similar.

The trouble is that we seem to have lost most of the external journalist input/questions with the club having persuaded James Earnshaw to move over to the dark side!

It was better when we'd be told

In the gym
In light training
In full contact training

I honestly thought it was more widespread a term and that it basically dated back to Paul McGrath.
