I'd imagine if Cywka was consistent, he wouldn't be playing for Barnsley.
McCleary isn't consistent, true, but his contributions when he is playing well make him one of the best wingers in the league. Only Andy Reid has more assists. Cywka isn't credited with one in 17 appearances this season. He got one last season though.
You might be able to argue that we would be better off with someone who performs more consistently than McCleary, but to a slightly lower standard, another McAnuff if you like. That's fine, I can respect that. Cywka isn't that player though.

I dunno, Barnsley were very consistent before last night.

I was impressed by Jean Yves-M'voto, their number 22. Nothing got past him last night.

As for McAnuff, and I'm a big fan of his, he's only been credited with one assist so far this season (same as Drenthe). Also slightly shocking that Pog & Alf only have two each. Apart from an inconsistent McCleary where is our creativity coming from?

Agreed my MoTM for the game even though we made it easy for him giving him heading practice all game.
