Hound something like

Rafael
Araruna Holmes Dann Bristow
TDB Laurent
Azeez Camara Hoilett
Puscas (if he is hanging around)

CBC, Clarke, Carroll, Swift, Halilovic + whoever else can drag themselves out the treatment room

Not sure why he would want to play Rafael. It would be a pretty low risk game for CBC, would like to be looking to the future rather than the past.

yeah maybe. wouldn't be against it. Again like Puscas, depends if he is hanging around for the rest of the year

Is CBC cup tied? Sure he was out on loan.

Yes he played in the first round for St Albans, so is ineligible - as a result I'd expect Rafael to get a game even just as a shop window for him.

I would be more inclined to go with Southwood, a clean sheet might boost his confidence after his error yesterday. I agree Rafael will get the nod though.

CountryRoyal It’s the FA Cup. It would be nice to see a cup upset and have the underdogs win.

Don’t think that’s likely though, so Kidderminster to comfortably go through to the 4th round.

You can’t get a clean sheet when you lose.

Think we will have more than enough for Kidderminster, team selection dependent of course. From what Paunovic said yesterday it would seem certain players need match minutes so I'd expect a fairly strong starting line up with changes made early in the 2nd half if we are comfortable.

We are bad but not quite that bad. We will go there and win big, build up everyone's hopes and then get hammered by Fulham a few days later. It is the Reading way.

Just as a reminder, this was the Swansea LC line up.

Southwood
Sackey, Holmes, McIntyre, Abbey
Tetek, Osorio
Leavy, Ehib, Camara
Puscas

Only one of them started in the league game before or after. McIntyre, in a different position.

Last year's FA Cup game
Southwood
Esteves, Dorsett, McIntyre, Bristow
Olise, Semedo, Pendlebury, Onen
Baldock, Aluko

2 played the game before, 2 played the game after.

Paunovic doesn’t give 2 shiny shits about winning a cup game.

Not suggesting he cares as such, just going on his own words from yesterday about a lack of match fitness. You only get that from playing competitive matches. Think you'll see Carroll and Swift get a rest but I am hoping for first team players elsewhere.

Puscas will finally be playing at his level.

I don't think Pauno gives a monkeys about the cup, but pretty sure will see it as a way of getting match fitness, hence picking a strong looking team. The fixture list in January isn't especially packed after the next batch of games. Feb is rammed though.

Given the current situation I would opt to play the strongest side possible as the players need to be back to match sharpness ASAP. There also needs to be some stability, confidence and understanding put into the squad and chopping and changing players about for the sake of it isn’t the best of ideas really.

Bonus with that too is a win puts the club in with a chance of a small cup run and the possibility of extra money while defeat with the strong side out pushes the management closer to the edge.

Doesn’t seem to care much about winning a league game either.

I don't think so... Harriers will be putting out their full-strength squad.

He at least mostly puts out his strongest side in them. Just his training, ethos, subsitutions and tactics that are the problem in those.

Winning breeds confidence!! If Pauno wants to stay in Reading past the end of the season he needs to improve results quickly. The FA Cup is the best Cup competition in the world and the third round is the most anticipated in my eye's.
To many of the bigger clubs have undermined the competition by playing their second string teams in the early rounds.
Pauno is treading on thin ice and an FA Cup shock to the lowest team left in the competition will not do his chances of surviving the boot any good whatsoever!!
This is our 150 year anniversary and so far its been a shambles!! Maybe a good cup run could just be something needed to re-ignite our season.
Plus, a good cup run can generate some much needed cash!!!
This game cannot be taken lightly...Kidderminster will be giving their all for our scalp.
Playing a second string side will result in certain defeat!! Playing our first team may also end in defeat!! but at least he gave it a go.

Royal_jimmy Can we lose so Pauno is sacked? Rather concentrate on the league anyway

The money from a cup run would come in handy .......
