Can't imagine we'll go from 2 points in 9 to 9 points in 3. Draw will be where I set my hopes.

We currently have 7 points in 3, you gotta believe it can be 10 points in 4.

Funny old league. When you're on a run, you think you can beat any team. Suddenly Blackpool look totally beatable, because we're unbeaten in 3 with 2 wins on the bounce.

Yep a bit of momentum and all that.

Yeah and when we were losing we looked like we’d lose to anyone and everyone

Teams like Coventry and Bristol C really were pretty poor. Losing to both was unforgivable

I thought Coventry were decent but Brizzle were dreadful. We should have got something there.

+1

Let's hope a manager like Ince will give the players some fire and confidence, and be a presence on the sideline to shit up the opposition. Especially since he used to manage them.

Bristol City are such a bizarre and inconsistent team.

I am hoping for a 2-0. It reminds of a game back in February 2000 when I think we were struggling in the old third division (League 1). I drove up on the Tuesday morning and got back to Reading at around 3 am and had 2 hours sleep before getting up for work. It was all worth it as we had won 2-0.

I think we’ll miss Baba today but I am hoping for the best. I imagine that the rest of the season will be a bit of a rollercoaster of emotions but would rather that than becoming immune to defeat like I did under Pauno.

Their record is very similar to ours this season.....six points better off if our points deduction hadn’t applied. They have scored and conceded at very similar levels to us.

I'm amazed Luton are doing so well. Every time I've seen us play them the last few seasons they've looked bang average L1. Seem to be making it on organisation and hard work. Fair play to them.

M6 closed between J14/15 because of an accident, delays of an hour.

Yep. They have always looked ordinary but won at our place so comfortably even though they were at best mediocre.

Quite a lot of positivity after these last two good, and much needed, wins.
Am always naturally pessimistic about our chances so just hope that our performance of the first half v Preston is repeated rather than the performance against Birmingham where IMHO I thought we were a bit fortunate to get the win.

It does feel much better today ahead of the game following the 2 wins and other results midweek generally going our way and that 8 point cushion feels so much better (even if it is only 1 win) than the 5 points, especially with a very difficult March to come.

Hopefully their much sought after winger , Josh Bowler, has an off day .

We are desperately short on defenders. Somehow both Holmes and Hein are now out injured. Ejaria and Halilovic both back. Still eight out then.
Rino at left back so we will miss him in midfield.
