katweslowski Club news - Steve Coppell will be in attendance.

I really do feel the takeover is or has happened

Yep, you'd certainly like to think that is a good indicator of a non-toxic atmosphere on Saturday.

There was a fans event at the Turtle last Sunday which he was guest at and he did say he was toying with the idea of attending.

Just need Pards to replace Tim and Martin Allen to present and we’d have BBC Berks coverage worth listening to. :?

Hope we do our bit, because with everything arranged and potentially a home sellout or near enough, it would be a shame to not get the win since it's becoming a bit of an occasion.

I almost feel its more of a downer to win and have Orient win, than to draw or lose.

You have the juxtuposition of the celebration of a win with the ultimate failure to get in the POs, vs the consistent feeling of the draw /loss and ultimate failure.

Especially if the takeover goes through. If we don’t win we're all just focused on the takeover. If we do win its a bit grrrr so close to everything!

Nah. If we win, at least we can there was nothing more the team could have done, on the day at least.

Actually it looks like we have the whole of the upper west now, but will only open a block once the other sell out. So Barnsley will only be in the south it seems.

Anyone offering odds on the takeover being announced on the match day in front of a near sellout audience?

We should just put them in the South stand and let home fans have the corner if the demand picks up further.

Injury update from press conf today:

Dorsett - in contention
Craig - available if season extended beyond Sat
Elliott - now out for season.

No questions asked on why Elliott's injury has gone from 12 weeks from start of December to now season ending.

Didn't Elliott get ravaged by injuries as an academy prospect at Chelsea too? It's why he's ended up here. Perhaps he's just very prone to them, as talented as he is. Maybe even when fit he can't put in the minutes like Knibbs, Wing, Bindon etc., Maybe this injury wouldn't have happened with more rotation.

RFC bringing back the classic mystery injury that no one will explain.
