Alan Partridge Think Jamie Cureton with even less work rate.

Seen him play against the Gulls and other than missing a penalty, I can barely remember him touching the ball.

Alan Partridge
West Stand Flash BBC Radio Sheffield confirm ReadingFC have bid for Adam Le Fondre.

Definitely worth a dabble. Ding sign him then they should be looking top half. Only needed a centre back and a striker. With Gorkks, ALF + young Mills that would represent a decent week in my opinion.

Today

moo How often do we see players banging in goals at the lower leagues and never make it? Andy Morrell has a class above and never managed it. I'd love to take a wager that he would FLOP in this league.

I genuinly wanna be proven wrong. Seems like the guy wants to play for us.

He looks like a fiery character and he's young enough to take a gamble on. Let's see what happens.

There are a number of differences between Alfie and Morrell. Morrell was 28 (going on 29) when he left for Coventry - he also had only one season of note in the league when he went.

ALF has had four very good years in a row and is 4 years Morrell's junior.

Hope it works out.

what a stupid, ignorant comment of a player who has been exceptional for the last 2-3 seasons.

for a young lad he has done brilliantly so why not get behind him and who knows he may prove better than both - my money says in time he will

He will get a chance if he signs. I hope I'm wrong. But my point is valid.

Moo - I will take your bet if he comes then £100 says he gets at least one goal inside his first ten games, you on?

You used the words FLOP in capitals, unlike you i think he will do well. If you arent that confident then how about £50 says he will score within his first 5 games?

Now this is a very good Championship team:

-----------------------Federici-----------------------
---Cummings----Pearce----Gorkks------Mills----
----Kebe------Karacan---Leigertwood--McAnuff-
--------------------Hunt-----LeFondre-------------

Bench: McCarthy, Khumalo, Howard, Robson-Kanu, Manset

howard and federici are a bit wobbly but that's a much stronger line-up
