Ian Royal Spot on, apart from I only really dislike Long.
Ivar I have the greatest respect for and love him as a past player, but I wouldn't play him. Cisse has his pros, but again I certainly wouldn't play him in midfield. Ever.

FezzaIan Royal I love Ivar in the same way I loved our old dog. It would limp around and try to play ball but would often fall asleep or run out of energy and end up crapping all over the house. In the end an injection and the long sleep was the best course available. I still have the good memories form it's youth and the joy it bought us and am glad that this hasn't beed sullied by its final depressing years....

Sadly, there is more chance of Angelina Jolie and Kirsten Dunst having a threesome with me than there is of SJM making an appearance on the pitch.
Yeah but it would be a laugh. Especially if he turned up having forgotten to take of his sun hat and shades, with a pink garland round his neck... and maybe a couple of girls in grass skirts on either arm.
Do they have girls in grass skirts in the Canaries? Must have missed that one! And whatever would Cilla say???

Schards#2 Mcdermott's full record is W 2 D 3 L 3 including 5 away games and 3 games against Premiership opposition.
To ignore cup results against the likes of Burton or sides that don't give a toss is understandable but that was not the case with either Liverpool or Burnley.
Most the complainants seem to be the same people who said 20 games wasn't long enough to judge Rodgers by, so how come 8 is enough to judge McDermott by? And, even if it is, his record isn't too bad.
Seriously, what were you expecting? We aren't paying top wages, we have no transfer budget, we're in the relegation zone.
In the circumstances, McDermott is the best option FFS man up, get a grip, grow a pair, and get behind him and the team. The damage was done months ago, no point in crying about it now.

For Once I have to agree +1
Tuesday night was extremely disappointing but McDermott has done more in the last few games with precious few resources than Rodgers managed with nearly 4 million whilst Coppell secured one home win in the last half of his final season with a Premiership squad.
I'm delighted for Brian McDermott and, if he keeps us up from here, those who doubted the wisdom of removing Rodgers will have their answer.
This is going to be tough and given the army of fans who pleaded for Steve Coppell to be retained when we lost our Premiership status, I hope relegation will not mean that Brian is automatically replaced.
I've been seriously impressed with his time at the helm and I hope he will be given a fair chance to prove himself.

Terminal Boardom And who briefed SJM before saying this to the world?I have always had great faith in Brian. His period in charge simply reaffirmed what I already knew.
"It was important to give him an opportunity and he has taken it."
He continued: "He has managed the team very well during a difficult period and this decision is based on the entirety of his work, both as first team manager and in his previous roles during his 10 years here.
"The team are well-organised under Brian and he is passing on a wealth of experience to our players. He clearly has the full backing of the squad and the majority of the performances have been good, while he has been unfortunate to have been handed four of his five league games away from home."
Just go and take your grape peelers with you!
