Royal Lady He's not been paid yet, so he is still a 49% shareholder and, as such, can say what he likes really. Whether that helps the club or not, is a different matter!

Not so. AZ can fire him from the position of Chairman the moment he wants to. What's more, if Madejski continues to say what he likes and, in doing so, embarrasses the club and/or AZ then AZ should fire him.
The media wouldn't be anywhere near as interested in the thoughts of a minority shareholder of RFC. What's more, those thoughts could no longer be portrayed as the official view of RFC.

Uke I like this time and think we should let SJM speak more
He's leaving, doesn't give a toss who he offends (TSI in particular - their non-investment in the team will mean his 49% is worth a lot less than it would have been in May)
He's been screwed over by them, so he is now happy to shine a little light on the goings on behind the scenes

Ian Royal Yeah, wow. Saying he wouldn't have sacked McDermott (but he can't be surprised to have been given the elbow) and we should give Thatcher a minute's silence is really shining the light on TSI.
And it's not like Madejski has form in showing loyalty to a manager who isn't performing at this level to the detriment of the club. Coppell tendered his resignation because he thought he wasn't doing well enough and Madejski refused it. We got relegated by 3 goals.

I thin the bit where he says it was all down to AZ is fairly enlightening as to how much say SJM has now...
That and his silence at the time
