biff Helluva lot more exciting than standing cross armed tutting at the misinformed, feeling inwardly smug that you're right about the scores and everyone else is a "oxf*rd".

At least there were several hundred Burnley fans who had stayed behind to applaud our team as they completed their "lap of appreciation" to a near empty stadium....where the hell were you lot?Royal Lady Agreed with the OP - Schards said to some bloke are you absolutely sure that Forest have equalised and he said yes. Complete and utter belmonts. And while I'm on the subject of fans - Burnley's fans can do one, I hope they beat Derby's "record" in the Prem - after we applauded them for getting promotion, they continued to rub our faces in the fact we were losing and then cheered when they saw the Brighton score. No effing need for that. Maybe I'll feel differently in a couple of days - but they REALLY p'eed me off.

biff Read up on herd mentality and decentralised decision making. Is it too much of stretch to realise that a majority of us thought we'd done it and fancied a traipse o on the turf? I'm truly sorry you didn't get to applaud Wayne Bridge on his monumental efforts this season, but I oxf*rd loved it.
"Cheers then"

More would have stayed if it wasn't for embarrassing pitch invasion. And then some had to go get buses and stuff so couldnt stay because of the oxf*rd oxf*rd who invaded
+1 No one knew if the players would even come back out. Blame the pitch invaders for that!

alol@ staying for the "lap of appreciation"
What are you appreciating, a bunch of under-performing prima donnas who blew their play-off place with a series of appalling performances?
