Sutekh Zip Jackson Corner Journeyman championship has been. Never fulfilled his potential another crap signing, if he was any good would stoke be getting rid of him?
He’s been playing well for Stoke. His record is considerably better than that of a journeyman.
Stoke fans are happy because, like with Liam at this end, it’s another big wage off the books. Some have also said though he’s largely not given too much return during his time at Stoke his current form is the best seen from him for a long time.
Mrs S is from Stoke and a lot of her family are Stoke fans - speaking to them, he has been frustrating as shown flashes of brilliance mixed with a lot of rubbish. However, they were all surprised that the club got rid of him now as he was breaking back in to the team (starting 3 of last 5 games for them) and playing the best football he has to date for them. New signings there probably push him back out of the side being the only reason.
Looking at his record this year, he has only played 720 minutes across all competitions (280 of those this year though) and has 5 goals and 2 assists to his name - so involved in a goal every 100 minutes or so. If he can continue that sort of form and build on his improved performances, we could have a very effective player for the run in.
