Stranded
Royalee Good luck Glen, hope you can stay fit and finally show the Premiership why you should have been playing there years ago.

Our squad gets ever-weaker under Coppell...

Obviously this decision was all his fault...

I'm very surprised by this, really can't see him getting many games there to be honest but financially it'll be better for him which at his age would be a major factor.

Good luck to him.

It is - we should have offered him a deal sooner instead of faffing around. Faffing around is Coppell's way of doing things though, which is why we're in this mess and not a mid-table Premiership side right now.

Utterly gutted. Was looking forward to seeing him play again. And of all the teams to go to. Bloody Pompey. I couldn't stand them to begin with, and now 'Arrys brown envelopes have lured away our best winger. Alledgedly.

starbug What a tosser - how much did we pay him last year while he was injured, as soon as he's fit he joins another club

I was a huge Little fan, to say I feel let down is a monumental understatement.

How old is he, 32/3?

Season in the Premiership with the FA Cup winners >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> season with an unambitious relegated side.

Exactly. A last farewell to top-flight football and UEFA cup campaign awaits Mr Little.

I hold nothing against Glenn Little for making this decision, who wouldn't at that stage of his career? It's one last crack at the Premiership for him, with a body that won't hold out much longer. He deserves the chance to prove he can cut it at what is a top 10 premiership club.

However on a personal level I am GUTTED. Favourite Reading player gone, and our chances of a swift return dented.

Well, it's a tough call to make.
I can't dislike him for this and wish him well. The issues of us not having a fit or proper right winger remain.

I hope we've got someone lined up or Jimmy Kebe is having the Steve Coppell Winger Masterclass.

He has let us down big time, not quite the player i thought he was seeing as he has been supported by Reading when they could have let him go into footballing oblivion.

I hope he has a massive re-occurance of his achilles injury and never plays again.

Im not bitter

What we also have to remember that whilst he was a great player for us and we will be weaker without him, he has only played 2 hours of football since the middle of March 2007. At his age there is no guarantee that he will get over his injury properly and there would have been a big chance that he would not regain his form from that Championship winning season.

A loss to us yes, but not a huge loss.

Or even Glen Little  Not about loyalty, Little has got the best possible dela for him and his family, I am gutted to see probably our best footballer leave the club. A hell of a lot depended on this 33 year old injury prone winger with no pace, which sums up the rest of the squad.

Huge shame to see Glen leave, he leaves with my and I think everyone's best wishes for next year and beyond.

I hpe that useless gimp Hammond is actually bothering to sort out a half decent replacement. If I see Kebe lining up against Forest then HAMMOND OUT banners will be in evidence against Plymouth. 8)

How could he?

I've hardly seen him play and I was looking forward to it and now I want to call him all the names under the sun!

I think John Fern's let him and Convey down with the shit treatment they've received having been brought back too early and had their careers threatened through incompetence on behalf of RFC. I don't think Little will want us to go down though - he has some class unlike many of our fans.

Sometimes players that have looked at of their depth suddenly come good when a new season starts. It happened with Convey, it took Sonko quite a few games as well.

Don't write someone off just because of a handful of minutes you have seen them play.
