Then you need to look beyond William Hill;
I lumped a load on between 35 and 45 to 1 around that time using BetVictor, Skybet and Betfair.

Sep 1st, 11.44am, Paddy Power, I backed them at 50/1, pretty sure that was transfer deadline day.
2nd time I've backed them in 20 years of being old enough to do so, other time they came 11th in Div 2, so I fear this will be a great value bet rather than a winning one.

FWIW have done combinations of:-

Reading Top6 (believer after the Ipswich game)
Oxford Top7 (not an Oxford hater because of wife's family and respect to late father-in-law and mother-in-law who followed them home and away in non-league days of yesteryear)
Bournemouth relegation (too much hype about little club, Eddie Howe etc.that is not so little having spent nearly £30 million on new players)
Also separately 'Boro e.w. at 11/2 and Brighton to get more than 60 points (spread bet that I am thinking of closing).

Prices on all 3 have shortened significantly in recent days but with only about 8 months to go I feel fairly confident (not really but happy so far).

floyd__streete Watched the Ipswich game on a dodgy live stream in a bar in Antigua and either the flickering stream deceived me or we played some excellent football. Given the investment this summer a top 6 finish must be the minimum requirement but we've made an impressive start and congratulations must go to all involved. Burnley away was a stand out result, a similar outcome on Saturday would be quite something. The biggest note of caution so far however must be over the two goalkeepers we have signed :!:

Not at all. I've followed Reading for approaching 30 years now. This has the potential to be one of our better sides.

Thoughts are with you though. If Bond does find some form it will be a tough season for you.

Why will it be a tough season for me? If we do well then that is good news for all supporters of the club. I don't really understand the point you are making? Unless of course you are trying to be funny, in which case.....better luck next time :|

Watching Rotherham v Burnley: Although ahead ATM 0-1 Burley offer very little. I have Burnley to win this 0-2 but that's because Rotherham are Rotherham and not because Burnley are to be feared. I wouldnt levy our promotion hopes on being able to beat a team like Burnly. That said, our form lately has been excellent and opening games that we got feck all out of would now produce points. Just wanted to point out that Burnley are average and we should be beating teams like them anyway, thanks to investment and SC. If we take 3 convincing points tomorrow then I agree, we'll be going up, all being good and well.

Never knew there were so many ways to spell Burnley, thanks for that.

I called it on deadline day and it looks like I'm being rewarded 8)

I'm not just thinking promotion now though, I think we might just be champions this season and become the first club to win 3 Football League Championships, which would also be 3 times in 10 years..

Seems an appropriate time to tell the story of the last ten games or so of the season when McGhee took charge and we were showing signs of having a great team.

I never punt but put 20 squid on us winning promotion the following season at something like 20-1..... pinned to slip to the kitchen board and subsequently split up from my financee around Christmas.

The only thing the bitch took was the slip.... and I got off lightly.

Next 3 fixtures are Charlton, Rotherham & Fulham. 3 teams I expect to finish nearer the bottom than top.

Beric Champions 15/16 Urz t-shirt ordered!
