Reading 2 Cardiff 0

Delighted we have only given those kunts 2000 and not the whole South Stand. 50% less noise from them will help.

Hopefully thought they will continue to implode and we romp home with a 4-0 win, making that unwelcome away trip a relaxed day out.

I think a tight 1-0 win in the home leg.

Cardiff implode under the pressure in the away leg, rather like they did on Monday. 2-0 win there, giving us 3-0 aggregate victory.

Both legs 0-0 and Reading bottle the penalties.

Not a prediction but an aspiration:

- that we don't get kicked out of it / intimidated by a club that thinks it deserves better simply because it says it's bigger / most historic.

To some extent that's what I felt happened with Bolton 1995 and Wolves 2003 when we looked the better side for much of the ties. It would be good (and progress) to see Reading play hardball toe-to-toe with clubs like these - and Cardiff is one such.

Pointless us turning up according to this chap. Anyone able to offer him a lift to Wembley.

And so as not to disappoint his mates I'll post his comments here....

(done deal in my book)
I do like to chat a bit on the way down (some people think I talk too much) so if I you can take me I will try and keep my mouth shut. I can get a bus from Trowbridge to Cardiff if that helps.

Would you offer this jockey a lift? I'd wait until he was a few feet from the car and drive off. And when he was shouting "What are you doing?" I'd reply, "Well at least your a few feet closer than you were before".

We play Cardiff on Friday.

On Friday Cardiff fans will have to drive past Swindon - nicknamed the Robins (and some other ruder things.)

= Robin Friday

Voted all time legend player or something similar at both Reading and Cardiff

Its a spooky omen and clearly foretells that we will win, or they will.

Reading 0 Cardiff 0 (Bellamy red card for hitting referee, but FAW overturn it)
Cardiff 0 Reading 1 (Bellamy og, 120 + 7 minutes)

2-2 in a game we should win, but conceed a sloppy equaliser to spwany Cardiff who go mental.

Long & Hunt.

We then piss them off mightily by hitting them on the break as they pile on the pressure at their place, we go 2 up only for them to get one back and then we hold on despite being completely underseige for the last 15 minutes.

Cardiff fans and players go apeshit and get fined £2.53 by the FAW for not being nearly violent or disrespective enough when losing.

1st leg:
1-0 to us
Federici scores well into extra injury time with an overhead bicycle kick that possibly doesn't cross the line, but the crowd give it, so the referee does too. Result!

2nd leg:
3-0 to us
We demolish a devastated, demoralised side.
Kebe (scores within 10 seconds)
Robson-Kanu
Church (goal of the season)

(Bellamy throws a water bottle at Church and misses and hits Dave Jones instead. FAW decide there's no case to answer).
