winchester_royal At this point in time you could make a pretty good case for us needing a new manager who is excellent at bringing younger players through at the right speed and in their correct position. Someone like Eamon Dolan.....

That may be true - but he's had pretty much the same players as McD did. Why not play Kelly?

Reading's defence was woeful under Mr Maccy-D before Adkins reign. It's a problem he's inherited, not created. Perhaps a Premier League budget might be a start to try to deal with the problem......of course....

Not at this level it wasn't, Adkins has always been known as an attacking coach whose teams defending always leaves a lot to be desired.
