Cardiff (A) Predictions

by CountryRoyal » 06 Nov 2015 15:33

With Ferdinand, McShane and Williams reportedly out that more than likely means 2 central midfielders again which has obviously served us so well recently :| not to mention a very young and inexperienced CB partnership.

Cardiff's problems have been well documented and they have been dire offensively this season whilst still keeping it tight at the back.

We always have been a good team to play when one's playing badly and tomorrow will prove no different. Cardiff will overrun our lightweight midfield, exploit our defensive inexperience and capitalise on Al-Habsi's weaknesses. Drop of confidence and poor balance of the team means that the attacking players don't really threaten and Steve Clarke gets his substitutions all wrong.

Cardiff 3 - 0 Reading

The wheels on the bus come off off off.

In the last 6 games Cardiff have scored 2 and conceded 2 but by all means keep those high scoring predictions coming.

Cardiff 0-1 Reading.

I'm sure they'll rediscover their goal threat against us. Probably in the first 10 minutes because Hector decided to pass them the ball then fall over.

In light of Cardiff's scoring record and tight defence, I'll revise my next next six prediction to 0-1

I believe under the Adkins regime we scored one, which was actually a short corner, plus Cooper from a more direct corner away to Norwich. Under Clarke, I can't remember a single one.

With Ian Harte - oxf*rd loads.

We need a new Ian Harte. The amount of assists he got from corners, deep crosses and free kicks was incredible

It was ridiculous the amount of confidence I had that we'd do something from a set piece back then.

I practically don't even celebrate a free kick or corner now haha

Obita and McAnuff put a fair few good corners and freekicks in we scored from in Adkin's full season.
