As an aside there was a lady in front whose name had been spelt/designated wrong on her season ticket.

Yes she was in front of me .... the club had printed "ms" on her card and infact she was a doctor , she said she didnt want to be mistaken for a lesbian ( ?!?! ) and wanted her correct title in front of her name ( Dr. i presume )

Only at RFC .... made me chuckle though

That's the one. She said it took her 7 hard years at uni to earn the right to call herself doctor.

Fair Fooking play to the lass!

I still feel embarrassed using the title. I only tend to do it when I'm irritated that people have made an assumption, rather than asking.

Bad karma having it on too many cards, though. I know people who have had their houses burgled soon after having their wallets/purses nicked, because the kleps think that there might be drugs/prescription pads in the house.

Now, when I'm a "Prof" I might consider it... :)

Firstly, I'd just like to say AAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGRRHHHHHH!!!!!!

Secondly - I visited the ticket office for a third time today to try and get the monthly payments repaid to my credit card and was given the excuse "the credit card company will take 5 working days to refund your money" which, funily enough, is the exact number of days when the credit was issued. I have to wait and come back another day.

"So can you prove that you have credited my card?"

"No sir, the computer says we have, but YOU would need to write to the accounts department to find out"

So.... I have to run around because the club's EDI link to the credit card company is perhaps, might I suggest, not working.

This made me laugh "We've had no problems collecting your money, sir"

Watch your bank account incase u have any brothers or sisters season ticket holders. My little bro isnt to happy as the great staff at reading fc have taken 2 payments out of his bank account to pay for my season ticket(makes a change him paying something for me  ) but because of this it has made him overdrawn as he wasnt expecting £190ish to come out of his account over 2 months!!!!! Now what is the chance the club refunding the bank charge my brother has been hit with?????? I cant understand how the club can take money from his account its not as if the card numbers we put down on the application forms where any near the same as his came from his bank and mine where from a credit card.
