Royal Biscuitman
SPARTA - TSI take majority share, announce remaining shares will be purchased later (Sept 13)
SJM could/should have stipulated in the deal that in the event of non completion TSI return/sell back at a stipulated price whatever % is required to give SJM back the majority stake.

though weve already established he hasnt got money to buy anything back.
and that anton isnt the kind of mug to agree to a clause where he pays millions for half of something, but if he doesnt buy the other half he has to give the 1st half back for nothing/miles less than what he paid

Royal Lady What would happen if, say, the local council didn't give planning permission for these pitches etc on the land they've just "bought"?

they wouldnt buy the land...........

shrugs, raises eyebrows and frowns at your mentalness

So they haven't bought it, they've just exchanged contracts and there is a chance that they won't BUY it then? Is that correct? Take your head out of the sand Bendy.

And just when I thought it impossible for the Team Board to get worse.

Some people just do not want to believe anything other than what they have already decided to believe.

Thank you! I would rather ask questions of those in power than be a pathetic sheep who mindlessly accepts everything they're told.

Not sure posting endless negativity on HNA equates exactly to 'asking questions of those in power'.

If you do ever have a chat to SJM or AZ then do share with us the inside story....

On it doesn't but it's still better than accepting everything you're told. If AZ had actually been contactable to for the last 10 months+ it might be easier for fans to ask him the questions that people want to be asked

I'm going to set up a "Tin Foil Hat Stand" for the Donny game - I should imagine it ought to be quite lucrative....

AthleticoSpizz Was talking to JM whilst he cleaned his Bentley at the Morrisons jetwash today.

When questioned about the delay, he just advised me to read the posts on HNA.

 That stopped me from bemoaning yet another 3 pages of 2 + 2 = PANIC!!!!!!

Yeah, glad I stopped by HNA today, just for that.

Exactly. They've exchanged contracts, subject to planning permission. If they get the planning permission, they're locked in. Unless the Naval college have been particularly generous with their terms, which I doubt.

Stop trying to find problems. Of course it could all go belly up, but it could all work out as planned, too.

Royal Biscuitman Interestingly, if the buy-out of the remaining shares has stalled then does that mean a new deal would have to be struck which could be based on a new valuation - SJM may be keen for that to be a valuation on a premier league team rather than a championship team

But what if Anton decides he wants to pay the price for a league 1 team? Or a pork pie?

UNLESS ITS ALL A MASSIVE MENTAL CONSPIRACY!!!!! OH MY GOD!

and even if that were the case, im not sure what you miss marpling around like a mad swivel eyed loon is going to do to affect the whole thing either way

Not buying into the land conspiracy but I recall Melo being the psycho screaming at everybody that the buyout would go ahead as planned and there was nothing going on.

Well, he was wrong. Seems people had every right to voice a concern, buyout isn’t happening anytime soon and SJM staying on as chairman for another two years.

That’s something. Straw man concern into silly THE WORLD IS GOING TO TURN INTO A COCK AND IMPLODEFUCK MY ASS to redeem credibility but I wouldn’t mind knowing what is going on.

:D i have never said anything of the sort. just that im not going to join in with the chicken lickens until i have actual evidence.never been that bothered with the full buyout tbh, and quite happy to have SJM as chairmanfor the next 2 years at least.would have been quite happy for him never to sell tbh, as i think he ran the club brilliantly. been quite happy with the evidence of my own eyes on how AZ runs things since he took over, and will be more than happy to change that view if i see things that dont really tally with what was promised.

i have no evidence for the "its all gone tits up, AZ is a oxf*rd" side of things, other than the delayed full buy out and two posters PMing me assuring me they have intimate knowledge that its all very bad, which they cannot verify other than to say they know someone who knows someone. which is almsot as good as no evidence at all to me.

i shall keep it in mind though, and weigh it against the actual evidence i have of the opposite, such as this proposed land purchase, category 1 academy status, and the statements from the club and JM that theyre happy with everything.
as soon as i have evidence that theyre right ill be flapping round with RL you and floyd.

its good to ask questions, please carry on.

but for god sakes man why do you have to screech so while you're about it

we'd all like to know everything about everything, but i understand and agree that there are often reasons why we cant, that don't amount to an evil conspiracy
when i know everything ill come and tell you all, which will hopefully stop you being so mental all the time

Er, yeah. If you are going to copy and paste vituperation it's probably best not to use the post of the person you are currently in a conversation with.

Who accepts everything they are told ? And why is assuming the worst better than assuming the best ? One makes you a miserable paranoid loser and the other means you are a contented fool.
There are a tiny number who have to pick out the negative every time, there are an equally tiny number who only see the positive and the vast majority who have some common sense.
Always assuming everything is a conspiracy and totally ignoring the real facts seems pointless and best left to a person I won't mention as they will throw a massive wobbler.

Situation is not ideal, but when is that a suprise?

We've got a decent team, great academy, and new training facilities on the way... I'm more worried about the beer queue at HT to be honest.

Oh and SJM is an outstanding Chairman to have for another 2 years

I am concerned about the beer queue as well. Why do so many people queue up for that piss water??
