It is the ITV commentators more than the studio guests that get on my tits. At least the studio bits are comparatively brief, you have to put up with Clive Tyldesley or Peter Drury for 45 minutes at a time.
The annoying thing is that ITV do have a decent commentator - John Champion - but he plays third fiddle to those two utter gits.

Really

Surely the 'insight' offered by Desailly is more painful. Anyway, Rozenthal's the one that gets on my tits.

Already BBCs coverage owns. I do like BBC Sport's production team.

I would give my left bollock to be able to get the BBC over here.

Australian "soccer" coverage makes my blood boil. Kevin Muscat as their expert summarizer and Harry Kewell mentioned for absolutely no relevant reason at least 14 times per half. AND they think the fvcking horn things create a better atmosphere. pcunts.

Must take my tablets.

Silver Fox I thought ESPN had roped Martin Tyler in?

Yup, and others from the Sky stable

This was unfortunate

Adrian Chiles has the charisma of a wet lettuce. No matter how much money ITV spend they just get it wrong every World Cup.

That oughta help bring understanding of the beautiful game to an uncomprehending nation.

Peter Drury oh God he's as bad as Tydelsely. I hadn't realised. He thinks he's some sort of orator but he is SO LEADEN.

Are they both really thick or something?

At least with the modern personailty-less BBC commentator like Steve Wilson you don't notice them.

I'll have you know that no less than .00037496827 percent of the popul7ion are outraged

After a while, it adds up --and, but for all of these damned foreigners and their maintenance of original allegiances, it'd be a good few more than that

ITV are just consistantly poor at sport.

For a major station to have such appalling front line commentators as Tyldesley and Drury is a disgrace. It's almost as if they are constantly looking for that "Wolstenholme moment", that defining soundbite so they always sound so utterly contrived and scripted.

Tyldesley's son is a Reading supporter isn't he? Is he registered on here? If so, I think we've found our sole ITV voter

 I'm assuming that massive fcuk up wasn't limited to Earley...anyone else get a set of adverts which randomly cut in on the game and then cut out to reveal it was 1-0?

ITV is the televisual equivalent of syphilis

ITV1 HD miss the England goal when they show an advert

The Government needs to act now to take the rights off ITV and give to BBC in time for the second half.

You'd be surprised how much Tyldesley earns for watching footy and talking shite.
