winchester_royal I don't think I'd have either Gerrard or Barry in this team if everyone was fit. Rooney in for Gerrard and Wilshere in for Barry.

Ginger Ninjas Why's Barry playing? Tried and failed, even Jones alongside Parker would be a better option
Oh, and Stevie G's done nothing, but that's no surprise...

Seal Remind me of Gerrard's performance as England captain? The World Cup. Ah yes, such a great leader that John Terry was happy to totally undermine him at a press conference. And as for on the pitch...
No problems with Parker, current player of the season, playing in a confident side, and gives all for the cause. Also more likely to actually make the Euros if you consider Gerrard's horrendous injury record for England.

TheMaraudingDog Parker keeps passing it 5 yards to a centre back
What's worrying is despite having two holding midfielders Snijders got on the ball unmarked just outside the box 4-5 times already.
And don't be fooled by a last ditch dive. They are an act of a desperate man who has been tactially embarrassed and it totally suicide. You leave yourself out of the game.

97% - Scott Parker completed 97% of his passes in the first half, a higher rate than any of his England team-mates. Example.

Simon's Church Gerrard's trademark 'England friendly injury' has come a couple of days later than normal.
