Four Of Clubs - in ‘level’ terms the 2 biggest upsets yesterday were (sadly) at Maidenhead v Faversham and Westbury v Oxford City: with the former tie @ York Rd, seeing a team 2 Steps below prevailing away from home.

As mentioned above, Maidenhead had a lot of good chances, but couldn't score. They hit the bar/post in stoppage time and had plenty of chances cleared off the line.

Watching the highlights, I forgot Faversham could've killed the game off though with how chaotic this game was compared to what I'm used to watching Reading ( ). Fair play to Faversham for getting through this as they fought well throughout.

Need to get to more non-league games this season.

I thought Faversham were in the scefl premier and were the ones who beat se dons to the title last year? Which would make them step 5 of non league i think?

But there must be another Faversham because I remember the one who played SE Dons last year had an extremely stupid American name

Looking at that league, Faversham Town (who Maidenhead played) won the Premier; Faversham Strike Force won Division One. I'm guessing it was the latter you're thinking of!

...for your sake I hope I'm badly wrong but .... "has the proverbial nil-nil written all over it!"

....might check out the 'Fizzers' tonight (Mon) down at the SB (Bracknell) vs the Polish lads (PFC Victoria) in CCL-1

Tue: really not much choice at all - I'm not a fan of 'cup' weeks :| - which this one seems to be round here.
No 'local' League action apart from in the Isthmian One S-Central
- so an easy option at Ascot vs K's .... but as I'm off this week might make an extra effort to get off the sofa, avoid the Euro stuff and venture out earlier up to Leatherhead v Hartley W or Met Police vs Binfield - not been to either of those for yonks?

Wed: even less on, now Maidenhead Town aren't hosting Finch. in the TVL-P :? - don't know why it's been put back - maybe the 1878 Stadium has another booking?
- so just Henley v Burghfield - but I was only there a couple of weeks back?
