But it'd be good to see an ex Reading legend on the box every sat /sun night!
But he'd need to get off the fence he sits on, on LKO.

We need more of Savage - heading up the first studio analysis of the entire Olypmic Games, he said "being a blonde, I go down rather easily" which had Lineker & Hansen spluttering as they quickly cut to a piece of VT...

I'm with you chap, but there are quite a few who don't like Savage apparently. He adds fun, unpredictability and energy.

Very true! And wasn't Lawrenson one of the pundits who predicted that Reading would fall away?

Mick McCarthy and Harry Redknapp are joining the MOTD team.

Popular members of the BBC's Euro 2012 team Harry Redknapp and Mick McCarthy will appear alongside familiar faces Alan Hansen and Alan Shearer throughout the season.

No mention of Lawro...

Lee Dixon is better on ITV than he is on BBC.

The BBC have finally realised how unpopular Lawro is perhaps. We can hope.

On a positive note, I thought Nial Quinn was very good on Sky yesterday. He will be a pundit with them this year.

I like him. He got hammered on here last season when co-commentator for some reason.

Maybe he's better suited to the studio role.

Blakey's Right Peg Not sure anyone is supporting Lawro, just merely stating that Wright and Savage are not great replacements.

Fair enough, people are entitled to their opinon, but who would you suggest?

Ian Thorpe. He could learn the rules, certainly bloody good on tele, nice to look at....whats not to love?

My favourite Olympic 2012 quote was Ian Thorpe being described as, 'a fawn who has run startled through Topshop.'

Gabby Logan, what's the point? We know the Beeb need a token girl but surely there is ex England international who could fill in.

Well, we have Harry Rednapp and Mick McCarthy joining MOTD this year then. Personally, I'm quite happy about Rednapp, but McCarthy, not sure.

My view would be the exact opposite.
