Ahem, LOL

Wolves boss Kenny Jackett confirms transfer-listed defender Roger Johnson, 30, is close to joining Premier League strugglers West Ham on loan.

"It is just a loan deal at the moment and the finances are structured around him playing - how many appearances he makes and whether they are successful," Jackett tells the Express and Star.

"It's a really good opportunity for him because he's going to a Premier League club."

Poor kid. Someone obviously told him West Ham won the World Cup in 1966 so he's been set up for a lifetime of disappointment and betrayal.

"Dad, why are we so shit?"

"Well son, we won the World Cup it in '66 so we thought we'd give everyone else a chance for the next 50 years"

Exactly. It would have been double figures by half time if they had played the kids. At least this way they will only likely need a 6-0 win in the home leg.

Loved the Johnson backing off for Toure's goal as well.

Absolutely lovely stuff.

Like watching us in the 106 season: after about five minutes you knew who would win (or to be honest who would lose, because I was only watching to see nails going into big fat Sam's coffin). I think they might be worse than us at the moment.

Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko: "We are getting better all the time. It's not easy to win 5-0 at home against a Premier League team but we did.

"Was it 6-0? Oh."
