RG30 on 21st November Farsley got a good keeper in Piotr Skiba, he made a couple of excellent saves in the first half.

Anyway, as my original choice of match tonight (Stockport Vs Torquay) was called off, I'm off to watch Guiseley play North Ferriby United in the Unibond Premier.

Ended up going to Nethermoor, Guiseley which is out of Leeds towards Harrogate way. Tidy little ground, looks like a new stand following a fire previously. The home side managed to squander a 2 goal lead to lose 3-2, with defender Sam Denton scoring 2 superb free-kicks within a 3 minute rang in the 2nd half.

Bracknell have concede 8 goals 4 times this season I believe. How many will undefeated W&E put past them I wonder...?

At any level, you're really tempting fate here RR

Relegated Watford slotted 8th placed Reading in the Prem
little Real Mallorca beat both Barcelona and Real Madrid last seson
Durham City (despite being -100 goals already) only lost 3-2 last week
etc etc

I'm off to Farnborough V Newport County in the FA Trophy today and it promises to be a cracker with both teams at the top of their respective leagues, having lost only once in the league this season.

In other news, the Prospect Road End development at Cherrywood Road resumed at pace again this week and fingers crossed, the seating should all be in by the end of next week.

And the view from the back of the stand.

I'd actually settle for an entertaining 0-0 but I would doubt Boro's chances in a replay.

Royal Rother And I am told that Bracknell are a bit of a bogey team....

... hmmm debatable - just done a delve through deeper folds of the Anorak and only doing this century discovered 10 League meetings to date - I'm not counting B&B games.

W&E have won 4 - drawn 1 at home but have fared equally badly at Larges Lane with 1 draw and four defeats - so pretty much a balanced record.
Interesting - the last three games at Bracknell have finished 3-2 to the Robins.

They only had two seasons together in the Isthmian 1 South before Bracknell 'hopped over' into the Southern League - W&E followed them in 06/07.

... they also met twice in 98/99 - I haven't tried looking back any further - probably have to thumb through the NL Directories - W&E did the double: 5-2 @ Stag Meadow - and their last win @ Larges Lane 1-0.

... so its fairly small bogey!

Blimey! Thanks for the research buddy!

I can go into the game with increased confidence....

6-1 I predict, but 1-0 will suffice.

6-0.

My goodness, Bracknell are, by some margin, the poorest team I've seen at Stag Meadow.

Weren't that far out with your forecast - wish I'd not got my one spot on at the MadStad this PM  - presume Bracknell were lucky to get '0' ?

... and Totton dropped more points at 'Torenton' - shared 6 goals.

Other Results :-

FA Trophy 1st Round
Bishop's Stortford v Maidenhead United 1-2 - Bps Stortford missed a pen late on I think.
Woking v Forest Green Rovers 1-0
Farnborough v Newport County 1-3
Hampton & Richmond Borough v Lewes 0-0

CONF South
Staines Town v Weston-Super-Mare 3-0

SOUTHERN Premier
Didcot Town v Halesowen Town 1-2 - said last week they were cr@p at home :(
SOUTHERN 1 Midland
Marlow v Bury Town 1-2
Slough Town v Romulus 2-2
SOUTHERN 1 S&W
Cirencester Town v Thatcham Town 0-0
Hungerford Town v Bishops Cleeve 0-0
Windsor & Eton v Bracknell Town 6-0

Combined Counties Premier
Ash United v Bookham pp @ 14:10 by match ref
Camberley Town v Molesey 1-1
Sandhurst Town v Guildford City 0-2 - bit of a shock but 'City' on a wildly erratic run - host top side Camberley on Wed eve.

Combined Counties Div 1
Coulsden v Eversley 2-6 - home side also without a point from 18 games so far this season
Frimley Green v Knaphill - result not in yet
Hartley Wintney v Feltham 4-1

HELLENIC Premier
Binfield v Reading Town 0-3 att 134 Town building a big lead now - only the 'Almonds' [Almondsbury Town] who are 7 pts back with 1 game in hand, look capable of catching them - and they have to go to fast improving Witney on Tuesday, who walloped them 4-0 in the Vase last week. Reading Town take a shorter trip just the other side of Oxford to play Kidlington - currently in 5th but 18 points behind Town. :o
Pegasus Juniors v Ascot United 2-1
Wantage Town v Ardley United 3-1 - 'Freds' up to third
HELLENIC 1 East
Eton Wick v Kintbury Rangers 2-2
Finchampstead v Wokingham & Emmbrook 1-2 att 104
Henley Town v Chinnor 1-2
Holyport v Woodley Town 1-3
Thame United v Newbury 3-0

WESSEX 1
AFC Aldermaston v Farnborough North End 0-4 AFC still 'pointless' 18 games played
Andover New Street v Fleet Spurs 3-5
Tadley Calleva v Shaftesbury 2-1

That's the week after Barrow travel to Sunderland so that may work out well.

In other news, the Braintree game has now been rearranged for Tues Jan 12th. Woking home game postponned because of the Trophy ties.

Working in Guildford i may go and watch Guildford v Camberley on Wednesday.

50/50 as to wether i go at the moment. Need a non league fix before the year is out and this might be my only chance, particularly as Thatcham is called off tomorrow night.
