Coppelled_Streets Delph to Man City. Having a medical today.

I wonder if Benteke going has something to do with this....

Either way, i'm now taking Delph out of my FF team

Bizarre that you’d spend so long mulling over whether to ruin your career or not, and then choose to ruin it.
You’d think seeing Scott Sinclair in training every day would have helped Delph make his mind up.

It does seem quite bizarre!

And along with TBM he is out of my FF team.

"How much do you want a week to sign for us?"
"£60k"
"Here, have £80k"
"Ok, where do i sign"

Fact is, Man Citys owner makes so much money he would have paid a year of Delphs wages in about a day

Last week:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33494840

"I'm not leaving," said Delph, 25, who signed a new four-and-a-half-year deal at Villa in January.
"I'm staying at the football club and I can't wait for the start of the Premier League season."

In January, after signing a four-and-a-half year contract:

http://www.avfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0 ... 20,00.html

"I am a loyal person and committing my future will hopefully show everybody what type of guy I am...This is my club and I want to be here. That's why I am committing my future... There was no way I was going to bail out. I am here for the long run."

Think someone suggested this week that their owner makes over £100k a minute in interest. Unimaginable!

God that makes my head hurt just imagining that... imagine that £100'000 every single minute, madness!

Much of the media saying there was no change in the offer to Delph, he simply changed his mind and got back in touch with them.

Realised he had f*cked up? Realised Villa were losing other players?

Either way, it will be BOOOOOOOOOOOOO central when he goes back next season

Some (apparently) ITK Belgian journalist on the radio just said that the structure of the finances for Benteke to go to Liverpool were agreed last night and he will have a medical tomorrow

Have to say that I'm really impressed with the calm, measured and above all mature way Liverpool fans have handled this whole thing.

You'll Never Walk Alone Raheem, that's because you'll need a whole team of security guards next season when you face those lunatics at Anfield.

Shame, he looked a terrific prospect at Fulham - maybe perhaps hopefully he'll get loaned out, as he needs another season or two in the Championship.

Another one to make up their 'home grown' quota.

Decent little player mind.

Certainly not £12mil worth of player though.

MEN say he wont be loaned out this coming season. Has to stay in their development programme for 12 months apparently

At 18 years old, that money is nothing if he turns out to be a future star for them/England

Sad to see three more young English players chase the money to end up in City's reserves/academy team...... Will they ever learn?

We only see these players for 90mins on a Saturday afternoon. They spend 6 days a week doing other things that to them could be worth signing for the club for - i mean i would be happy picking up £30k a week, training with the best players in the world, working alongside the best coaches etc even if it meant i don't get to play in the first team every week.
