Sanguine Well, City will probably go on and win it.
But for a second let's ignore that - half of the FA Cup quarter finalists have never won it, and none of the others have lifted the trophy since the 70s.
Fulham - runners up 1974-75
Palace - runners up twice, most recently 2015-16
Bournemouth - have never made it past the QFs
Brighton - runners up 1982-83
Ipswich - won it 1977-78
Preston - won it twice, last in 1937-38
Villa - won it seven times, but not since 1957-58
Forest - won it twice, but not since 1958-59
So yeah, anyone but City!

Winston Biscuit I thought we had a thread on footballs but can't find it now
anywho, just wanted to say that I listened to a thing the other day and Ben Foster and his goalkeeper mate said that the Nike football deal ends this season and Puma have the deal for next season, and they both said that an early story next season will be how much people (goalkeepers) hate the new balls
he basically said Puma balls are sh*t and all goalkeepers can't stand them

Sanguine Was reading about Jabulani a couple of days ago. 'pparently it was 'too round'. The panelling on a football helps it grip the air, and maintain consistent movement when, for example, you wrap your foot around a free kick or corner kick. Jabulani had fewer panels, and was the roundest football ever designed. The 'wobble' that came to characterise it was a version of 'stalling' in the air, like a plane. It was designed supposedly with a textured surface to overcome this, but it didn't work.

I saw that as well. The 'grooves' help create predictable drag which makes it more stable.
(tuck it away in case you need any interesting chat up lines in future)

Brobot and Sangers aren't cool!?
That was true in their 20s, let alone now.

Hendo How the fuck did Oliver not give a free-kick and immediate red card to the Millwall 'keeper? VAR should not have been needed for that.
One of the worst tackles I've ever seen.

Ian, you do and say whatever you want, despite the repercussions, and you don't care what anyone thinks of you. You're the epitome of cool x
