Plymouth Parkway`s home fixture tonight was postponed- waterlogged pitch
Truro City also play at the ground so not sure where it leaves their fixture against Bracknell tomorrow.

Crazy to think that due to 1 promotion place only being automatic, one of Notts County or Wrexham could finish on 110 points or more and not be promoted.

Both are currently 25pts clear of 3rd place Woking.

Truro were 'twittering' about the postponement about 5 hours ago - so it must be pretty wet there ....
- Bolitho Pk is up a big hill as far as I recall too - so evidently doesn't drain well and I believe there's lots more wet stuff due in the west before tomorrow/today. :?

- hasn't been too good round here either: Sandhurst's home game vs leaders Deportivo in CCL-1 was rained off at the SB so they STILL have 14 games to fit in. Other casualties of the downpours were Farnham and Amersham

Elsewhere in SLP-South leaders W-s-M grabbed a point (or dropped two depending on your view) at Amy Lane tonight
- Chesham deservedly led around 70' - visitors equalized with 5' left. Crowd : 385.

At STEP01 Woking drew 1-1 with Barnet - Notts Co return to top spot on GD with a 2-0 win at Alty - Longstaff with his 40th of the season - but Wrecsam have 2 games in hand now.

Fair number of games around the CCL tonight - bad news for RR - Oxhey Jets won 1-0 at Edgware & Kingsbury which sinks Windsor to the foot of the table.
At the top Ascot won 1-0 at Chalfont St P. and Reading City were held 1-1 by Flackwell at Rivermoor - att 168.

In CCL-1 I popped down to Cove and watched Berks County ease to a 4-0 win and close the gap to 1 point to leaders Depor.

In IL1-SC Binfield returned to the PO spots by beating S.Park @ Stubbs 4-2

And it’s utterly ridiculous to still have to have play offs if that’s the case.

Seems to be a discrepancy on how many games Sandhurst have played. Some tables say 26 but the league one i was going from says 27. That league is fast becoming a nightmare one as regards fixtures. My mate tells me that 13 of the 21 teams ground share, so fixture arranging must be extremely difficult.

They definitely need to increase the number of clubs promoted from the National League to at least 3 in my opinion. The standard of the National League is improving and clubs are more than holding their own in the FL nowadays as well.

Would like a rule where that if the second placed team in the National League is X amount of points above third place they go up automatically. Seems very unfair that one of the sides doesn't go into the Football League. They are so much better than the rest of them.

In that case they will pi$$ the play-offs :D

They should but over one game anything can happen, there is more of a pot luck element to it.

I find it quite ridiculous that there aren't 3 sides relegated from League 2 tbh.

From what I heard last night at Ascot they stil have around 70 tickets in their possession that they can sell if anyone is interested in going.

...possible a bit premature posting this - with all the wet-stuff about - will try and keep updated with any 'P-P'
- looks as if locally it's forecast to rain steadily til late evening (but it just stopped in RG1 momentarily ...and started again  )
..... then not much after mid-AM tomorrow - so here's hoping most/some survive, or I might have to stay local and maybe 'artificial' ... but there's not many of those scheduled either :?

Saturday 1st April

FAT – S-F
Altrincham v FC Halifax Town
Gateshead v Barnet
FAV – S-F
Congleton Town v Newport Pagnell Town
Corsham Town v Ascot United - see above (more or less) sold out but Southbank doesn't do well in rain, so may need a re-schedule anyway . No concerns yet ...... despite the forecast

Interesting info.

Corsham have hired a machine that removes surface water from the pitch to make every effort to get the game on.
