Corsham have hired a machine that removes surface water from the pitch to make every effort to get the game on.

..sure I can remember going to a Fleet Spurs game yonks back, where one of the home playing staff drove one of those for a living ..... and he nipped home and brought it back while we waited ..... to get the game on! Lucky he lived close by ......

Games at Plymouth P'way and Tivvy already OFF .... Pitch Inspection booked for mid-AM tomorrow round here (Binfield, Westfield)
...in that division, Hanworth Villa are hosting Guernsey so they are having a look early this evening ....

Unbelievably seeing the pictures on twitter from the ground earlier the referee has declared the pitch playable and the Corsham v Ascot match is ON

They got their special machine out and it mopped it up nicely. If they can get it on the pitch during the game then we should get the 90 minutes in.

Jolly good luck to them, hope the weather holds out and Ascot make it. Hoping BBC Berks give them some decent coverage too!
