Pepe the Horseman Someone on Twitter.

Was it Vic?

Sounds quite likely anyway

Be disappointed with NGW if that’s the case. Agree not earned any right to do that despite the fact I quite like him as a player

Surely if this bit is true

NGW had a big row with Selles after the game

How come NGW didn't also have a "big row" with Ince when Baba was starting ahead of him? Would take Twitter rumours like this with a pinch of salt as from afar he doesn't appear to be the type but who knows...

Well Baba was contractually obliged to start, for one. And maybe NGW thought he was above criticism because he won the penalty. Or maybe it's all BS.

As I say, the guy who posted doesn't seem the type to make things up for clout, but doesn't mean the info he was given is correct. Could just be people putting 2+2 together based on who didn't make the squad last night.

Also suspect players and managers have rows quite often without it meaning the end of their career at the club

Pepe the Horseman Someone on Twitter saying NGW, Carroll and Holmes have been told to find new clubs, so guessing that's who Vic is talking about. Would make sense as they weren't in the squad last night and probably best for all parties, albeit leaving us weak at LB. Also suggested that NGW had a big row with Selles after the game, which quite frankly, he hasn't earned the right to do.

I can't say I'd be too disappointed to see any of them leave.

I genuinely think Holmes is a pretty decent player who has just had a couple of bad seasons, mirroring the club in some respects. Between him and McIntyre, I think they are two defenders who would do better with better players/defenders around them. In the latter's case, McIntyre would probably be a decent addition for Blackburn and would do ok. Think they have the ability to play higher.

Carroll seems to be falling backwards quite quickly. I don't think he's someone I'd actively get rid of because I think his experience is good for the group of players we have and his attitude hasn't really come into question in his time, but perhaps that's changed.

NGW should do ok at this level, but just never really rated him. Thought the drop down might do him some favours, but I think we've probably found an overall better player in Carson. Leaves us a bit short there, but maybe a more experienced player in that position may help us and Carson himself for some competition as well.

It was a bit harsh on NGW admittedly as I think he did OK on Saturday, but still no reason to make a scene as the whole team were terrible for two games in a row.

I wonder if any fees we received for those four would cover a significant chunk of 125% of our monthly wage bill...

I'd say that considering Baba was a Nigerian international on loan from a Premier League team and NGW was a free transfer from a team recently relegated to League 2, Baba would expect to be the senior player.

Will watch this with interest then.

Could see Selles wanting shot of Carroll. Not his man. Not really able to press. Apparently gone a little off the rails - which doesn't set a great example for a young squad and potential dressing room frustration at the ex-PL name with loads of money on the way down 'slumming' it with Academy lads on the way up - and then missed a few of our rare chances. Bring in a solid striker and I think we're ok there without him.

Holmes is a real shame for a local lad who has been at the club from a young age and supports it. I do tiink he needs a break and could benefit from a fresh start though.

NGW feels hard done by to me. I could see him being frustrated having played second fiddle to a shitter player earning much more only to get two games where he wasn't particularly the problem before being cast aside for an Academy lad. And it leaves us with no real senior competition, unless you count McIntyre there, which I'd rather not given his pace issues.

Likely usual Twitter BS re players left out last night, but I can maybe see the club asking Carroll to find another club given obvious weight gain and the stuff in the national press recently.

I'd imagine Holmes has a similar release clause to TInce and Sarr, maybe not Tmac though given he extended the previous year.

If Blackburn offer anything around £500k-£1m we should sell

South Coast Royal Some rumours floating around including 3 fairly unexpected departures plus a winger/striker and yet another keeper to come in.

Well, the winger has arrived............................................................

Maybe Bowen and Selles did not think much of this.

Not taking into consideration any potential departures what other additions, if any, would you like to see made to the squad?

I’d just like a mobile forward like Jay Stansfield.

Maybe he'll be better in a team that are actually defensively disciplined and organised.

As CB and VC isn’t that part of his job?

This, a striker with a physical presence who can run a bit quicker than the average oil tanker.

Any forward who scored more than 12 goals last season from Conf S and above.

A LB if NGW goes.

I could see Tom Holmes becoming a squad filler at Luton. I think a move will do him the world of good. We need Hammond to negotiate a £5m fee.

Highly unlikely but if we do need a new LB, would love us to look at George Cox - came through at Brighton and played 108 Eredivisie games for Fortuna Sittard over the past 4 seasons. He would probably want a Champ move but at 25 still got room to improve. He can also play left wing too so comfortable going forward.

Stiker wise, lets bring back Dom Samuel and have a returning Academy front line  still only 29 apparently.

Would be a strange old world if he went there as back up to Gabe Osho.
