Birmingham City announce ticket prices for FA cup game

by Winchester Royal » 18 Jan 2007 10:35

Birmingham City Website Blues v Reading
FA Cup 4th Round
Saturday 27 January 2007, kick-off 3pm

The following prices will apply for all areas of the stadium (excluding VIP areas) for the FA Cup tie at home to Reading. Season ticket holders and non-Season ticket holders need to purchase their tickets in advance of the day of the game to take advantage of the discounted prices.

Prices

Season Ticket Holders (when bought in advance of the game)
Adults £15
Concessions £5

Non-Season Ticket Holders (when bought in advance of the game)
Adults £18
Concessions £7.50

General Matchday Price
Adults £20
Concessions £10

I presume our season ticket holders get the same discount, as we've been giving season ticket holders of our visitors this season discounts?
Either way, we should take a sizable crowd up there, considering how cheap it is compared to the Premiership.

Good news, Potato head was unhappy with the 16,000 crowd that turned up for the Newcastle one.

That's fair enough you can't complain about those prices, should be a decent crowd after the way they played last night.

You probably wouldn't, but it is the lowest attainable number of points on a member card. Basically, its to stop the tickets going on general sale until as late as possible (if at all).

Well priced, bloodly good number avaliable. Lets all get up there and make it a home game for us. Lets see how many are there and Reading TO take note on how to price tickets for the cup games at home for the next rounds.

I actually seem to recall the club saying they shifted something like 40k member cards at the end of last season, many of which had no games on them. There are undoubtedly more now.

Bizarre.

Blimey, travel and a ticket to the game for less than £40. That must be a first for an away game.

Presumably they know - we were told the Burnley tickets were that price because Burnley refused to allow the prices to go lower as they share the gate receipts, the other side of that means that RFC have agreed these lower prices :D

Watford tickets were just £20 so that was under the £40 mark too. Hopefully this one provide some better entertainment! :?

I think that stands as my best decision of the season so far, selling my Watford ticket and doing something else instead
