I like the fact that we had to chase really hard to get him.....

The fact that Nantes were so desperate to keep him......

The fact that Fae really wanted to join us.......

The fact that Nantes really didn't want Fae to leave..........

The fact that Nantes eventually had to accept that there was no way they could keep hlm as Fae wanted to join Reading.......

Its so much more satisfying and sweet when its really hard to get.

He must be a good player!

Super Kevin Bremner! Apparently they're keen to replace him with Chris Langham, or is that a different Nantes registration I'm thinking of?

 topicaLOL gag.

Topical, but weak.

Well, in that video he's playing for Nonce, so we'll have to wait and see.

We've definitely signed this one, yes????
After watching that clip I'm wondering if Coppell has signed him as a goalscoring winger  8)

Just to flesh out the record...

His lone goal of a season during which Nantes scored a total of 28 of their own (scroll down, and get in there before F365 updates for the coming season).

In any case, this should prove a most valuable addition and a very good piece of business.

Excuse me but Justin Fashanu hit a great goal once. Goal of the season I believe.

What else did he do?

Sorry to add some realism here but that goal isn't actually that good. He goes past the first player with a lucky deflection, it lands in his path, then the other defender dives in and misses the ball and the finish looks like more luck than a placed effort.

I'm all for hyping up players but cut the bullsh1t please.

Jaques Francais
Coppell's Right Footed 11 So... does this mean we won't be going for Glenn Whelan? and just the right winger is needed now?

I feel 1 maybe 2 will arrive, one will be a surprise, probably a young lad we haven't heard of

Glenn Whelan has his medical tomorrow, will likely be announced next Monday.

It was a while ago but check out some of the early predictions ...

Huntley & Palmer Where on Earth has this popped up from as a story. It even quotes the player as being asked about joining Reading, yet no sniff of anything from here. Bit surprised about him visiting the club over the weekend if no-one is there, apart from Hammond

Big Ern This deal will not happen. End of.

Yeah. Incidentally, isn't it great that homophobia still runs powerfully through the veins of football, even after Justin's mistreatment and consequent suicide? Those poncey liberals have made it acceptable in all other walks of life, but thank god we have somewhere we can safely vent our bigotted and archaic viewpoints.

Why is everyone "creaming" themselves over Fae, has anyone seen him play and what makes him so good?

Think I will reserve judgement until I have seen him play a few times.
