His two goals against Man City in last season are always on my mind.

I agree with some guys here stated that Lita should be given some chance to be included starting 11. Personally, it will be shame to lose such young football player with huge potential, and I still wish Lita plays for Reading happily.

Royals football was so entertaining in last two seasons, and he was one of the player who could show something extraordinary and attract spectators.

This year, something missing. Sidwell, of course. And Lita too.

Tonight, the third round replay against Spurs, I am looking forward to seeing his explosive play.

Should start upfront with Long.
Looking forward to seeing this fixture a lot more now!

Ups and Downs If people want him to go they have short memories. think back to his goals angainst Man city last year and tell me that we've got a single player in our squad who could have scored them.

Kitson with ease plus Doyle when he's on form.

It beggars belief that Lita's fan club STILL think one good afternoon last season .

That must have been one effing good afternoon to have scored all those goals in just one game!! Indeed such a good afternoon that he would have to warrant his place ahead of all other strikers!

Don't normally kick someone when they are down but I shall take great delight in seeing you painfully choke on your words about Lita when he has moved on and is doing the business elsewhere whilst SC still chunders on about making do with what he has got, first goal against us was offside, the second came from a non corner and the rest came because he suddenly realised he hadn't got enough players to fill the bench!

He scored 8 league goals in a season that Kitson missed most of through injury and he's now 4th choice on merit in this one.

But, according to Lita's pathetic fan club, those in better form than him need to step down so he can have a chance he didn't even want for fear of being cup tied.............it must be love

Frankly, other than putting Lita in the shop window, surely we would get more benefilt from playing Cox tonight.

Lita scored 14 goals last season & was Englands STAR performer in the Under-21 European Championships. He certainly is good enough.

I have a feeling it is more of a personall hate campaign by Coppell towards Lita rather than anything else.

The fact of the matter is Lita is better than Long & I'm sorry, but with the form Doyle has been showing of late, does he deserves to be automatically picked?

People cannot expect Lita to come in for 3 minutes here or there or play the odd FA Cup game & be the best player on the pitch. He needs a run of games.

Longs had a similar amount of time but made much better use of it.

8 league goals are all that concern this club as far getting picked to play in the Premiership but this season Lita has none whilst all the others have scored.

This puts him at the back of the queue regardless of Doyle and Long not being at their best whilst his off field antics and protests about being cup tied have left him halfway out of the door.

That looks strangely similar to the pic of Lita from his infamous vid.

I'd agree that Lita is a better player than Long BUT Long has more of a knack of coming off the bench and doing something to affect the game. Some players can do that, some can't. Long is generally Coppell's preferred sub out of the two.

It would be interesting to see which of the two would start a game if Doyle or Kitson didn't play for whatever reason. I wouldn't be too surprised if it were Lita as Long's alround game still doesn't look good enough to me. He really struggles to win and keep possession.

As for Doyle being out of form. I don't buy that. I think he probably needs a little bit of a rest after working so hard when we've been down to ten men and so I'd like to see/have seen Coppell make better use of his subs to protect Doyle's legs.

He's might've missed a couple of decent chances over the last couple of games but he and Kitson still look in decent form to me. Their partnership has come together and they were excellent against Spurs, West Ham (before the red card) and Sunderland where we created lots of chances. The Pompey and Villa games were a bit of a tactical right off so I'd say it's harsh to judge the forwards on those games.

I'd still like to see any of our subs get more of a chance if things aren't happening for the starting XI. 8 minutes at the end of a game just isn't really enough.

Lita's going nowhere until someone somewhere makes an offer which hasn't happened yet.
