Silver Fox
Huntley & Palmer Pub watching both sets of games live with a bar yards away > Going to Derby

Can we bring inflatables? That seems to be the main selling point for actually going to the game

I'm bringing an inflatable beer mug

On a slightly different note - I saw something on SSN this morning that Bolton are providing free transport for their supporters to get to the Boro game this weekend. 2 things:

1. Hopefully this will have the same effect as Operation Ewood did for CharLOLton.

2. Will RFC ever do something like this? I know the players gave STAR £5K towards Man City coaches but as far as I can remember that didn't come directly from the club. I'm not holding my breath.

yeh, blackburn last season was CLASS...their stewards just didnt know what to do, esp with the huge inflatables.....lol lol lol

You've missed the point, I fear...this post was about the subsidising of travel to an important away game, which just happened to be at Blackburn...nowt to do with inflatables per se...Charlton stumped up enough cash to take 5000 to Ewood Park for a vital game...and promptly lost 4-1. Hoping that effect happens with Bolton at Boro' as well...

£35?

Joke. I'm 17 and still in full time education and am expected to fork out £35 to see the worst team in the league play us?

If we are in the premiership next season, my away games are going to be limited massively.

Changing the subject (back to the subject) does anyone know if you can buy tickets on the day at Wigan ? For the away end that is, I dare say you can for the home seats. Thanks.

I don't really see how taking 1500 to Wigan ,when we have an allocation of 5000 'out in force'

So, if we had an allocation of 20000 and took 5000 would that not be 'out in force' either? The allocation is irrelevant, it is the number that attends that counts. HTH.

1500 for a trip to Wigan is pretty damn good for an away crowd.

Looked to me like there was a lot more there today than 1500, maybe about 2000+.

Agreed. There was a pretty hefty queue for the pay on the day turnstile when I left The Marqeue.

Agree with that. Didn't look quite so big though when I saw the away end on TV today

The Derby ticket allocation has now been completely sold out according to the Ticket Office, whom I talked to this morning.

Only 29 tickets left for Derby @ 10am this morning

by Crowthorne Royal » 28 Apr 2008 12:05

Glad to see that we are all still behind the lads even after some abject performances and no goals in 5 games !
Let the games begin...C'mon URZ.
