Big Foot I was going to have a piss on our right wing at half time as it would've had better consistency than James Henry or Bambi On Ice Volume II that replaced him

Please do that. You will be kicked out and banned from the club. The sooner losers like you are away from the club the better.

You are Clive Doyle and I claim my £5.

Alan Partridge Always good to get back into the habit of going to games again. Also this fixture is good as it's a first look at our new signings....

This pre-season last year we were playing River Plate of Argentina in a multi-national tournament. Now we're back to playing nth tier non-league oppos with our only "new signing" being a fan who paid for the honour of turning out for RFC.

WTF is going on? Mickey mouse club, run by Mickey mouse men? Mr Ego you have a lot to answer for and shouold be asking some fundamental questions of yourself and staff. Bet your bot is squeaking now you realise you're going to struggle to get your £40M loan repaid. (Of course, the Sky money has probably paid most of this back anyway - least I hope it has, because it certaily wasn't spent on the footballing side of things). Maybe you just feel a darn sight more comfortable being a big fish in a small pool. Fair play if that's the case, but if so, you have a duty to be honest with the fans and ensure that our expectations are realistically managed.

Welcome to the least anticipated season of 40 years of supporting, (or perhaps for the pedants that should read "following"), RFC.

You are truly unbelievable.

Aren't the Emporer's new clothes the best you've ever seen? Is that an elephant in the kitchen?

A few home truths and a reality check are needed this close season.

take your medication like a nice person and be quiet.

If you didn't foam at the mouth and spout a load of crap bollocks all the time you might make a bit of sense and have a couple of decent points buried somewhere.

As it is you are a fricking nut job not worth paying any attention.

He's wearing Bolton's and Fulham's colours! That's it - he must be on his way out now.

Royal Rother
howser I think in context we should be highly pleased with our win over an extremely strong and determined Didcot side, a side that fully reflects the challenges that we will face this coming season, unfortunately Reading wern't able to field the basis of thier Championship side as the "buy one get one free" part of the transfer window hasn't arrived yet so the performance of the Royals far exceeded what should be expected next season.

This cynicism and negativity is incredibly tedious now.

If we've made no new signings and have only a handful of points after 6 games then go for it full blast, but can't you just hold on until then? Policies adopted by this club over the majority of the Chairman's (not to mention the manager's) tenure have proved to be ultimately successful, so just can you not find it in yourself to be a little more patient with the club you purport to support?

I seem to recall very similar pleas for patience this time last season. And they kept on and on: Give it till October, give it till December, give it till the end of January, give it till........ oh shyte! We gave it too long, we're relegated!

Notice the whole of the fence round the pitch is painted in Sunderland's colours, just to make Hunty and Doyle feel at home !
Cost Keane £8 million to get that done...

Didcot was out opening friendly last year, and the year before that. Our opening friendly this year? ah yes. Didcot.

I prefer circus music myself, last reserved for the days when Denis Lawrence played against us and before that Kevin Francis.

Julian Kelly, right footed left back.
Seen him a few times for the reserves, looks decent. Gets forward well, bit of pace, plays the ball nicely enough.

I think he's 18-19 but I'm sure the OS will confirm !
