Jeering the French anthem

Why on earth they have to play national anthems before internationals in the first place is beyond me, esp. as the English don't have a national anthem and end up having use that awful dirge that's passes as the British national anthem.

The English national anthem should be the theme to the 'Archers' singing the national dirge supports the monarchy, not the country!

The Algerians were instrumental in bringing down the French 4th Republic so play a huge and significant role in modern French history, although they're more interesting in killing each other these days.

Somehow, I think Sarkozy would absolutely shit himself at even the slightest prospect of them hosting Algeria in a friendly. It just wouldn't happen.

The Welsh would boo 'our' National Anthem when we play them. Wouldn't expect anything less to be honest.

Its easy to get our own back though. We just need to remind them where they live.
