0 goals in 11 starts for a shit Stoke team which play shit football. Bad choice to go to them.
The rest of his playing record speaks for itself and speaks volumes.

Disruptive, last season yes, but so were many others. At least he backed it up on the pitch. His disruption was telling others they were shit. Which they were. He's acknowledged he made mistakes, he gave us no problems when we weren't doing apallingly badly.

I'm awake. He's one of the best strikers we've ever had and that quality hasn't vanished just because he left. His Prem record even whilst being disruptive, playing in a team on poor poor form and having come back from a season long injury is still as good as Lita's two Premiership seasons combined. And then some.

NHunt is turning into a very good buy. Lita has a lot of qaulity. Kitson is better than both. Nhunt may surpass him in the future, but I seriously doubt it. Lita is a goalscorer, Kitson is a goalscorer with a fantastic all round game.

I think Kitson in his Reading days was better than Nunt is now. However since then his confidence has plummeted, his knee has taken another load of punishment. Anybody who thinks we would be getting the same player back is very much mistaken, let him stay at Stoke.

did a bit of scouting abou as the "goals for" column before and after the 6-4 tottenham game

Up to and including tottenham we went

28 goals in 20 games

After that Tottenham game we went

8 goals in the next 17 before we went to Derby which was of course 4 in the next 1

I haven't read all of this thread, so I'll probably be repeating what's been previously said. Davey Kitson was indeed a bargain and a great player for us, but, in my opinion, he's now a busted flush. In the meantime, we're the highest scorers in the league. Why would we want him back? Why would we need him back? Is someone on this board related to him, to even be asking this question? And I don't think he'd take kindly to playing second fiddle to CCC players up front, what with him being a Premiership star and all.....

Couldn't have put it better myself. You can lock the thread now.
